Jan 2, 2024Crymachina boasts a dark, imposing world populated by monstrous machine enemies that uses classic sci-fi themes to examine deep existential questions. However, it doesn’t offer you any agency through a story that is unsatisfyingly similar to the studio’s last game.

Dec 14, 2023If you like JRPGs, combat with depth, and love getting to know characters more, CRYMACHINA is the game for you. Not a lot of games as of late feature such a distinctive art style, and it inspired me to pick up my own digital art projects again for a while – and that’s saying something!

Nov 10, 2023Simply put, CRYMACHINA is the definition of a niche JRPG title that will either win you over with its writing and characters, or infuriate you with its combat sequences. Aside from that, this is another visual novel in disguise.
