Purchased for 0.99 cents and it still feels hardly worth it. The novelty of timing an exact second wears off quickly, resulting in a handful of mini games with zero coherence, and no real reason to keep playing.

A trance-inducing piece of media, with vaguely threatening instruction messages such as "five mistakes will be forgiven" and "you are under evaluation". If you would like to spend a portion of your afternoon having an existential crisis, wondering if this game is cursed, summoning spirits of time, then by all means. You will appreciate your clock all the more after playing this. Though the gameplay remains basically the same; pressing a button in sync with a clock, the different modes available provide an aire of diversity.

Clock Simulator is a somewhat challenging but often repetitive rhythm game that lacks the necessary motivation to keep it interesting for long. The addition of multiplayer also fails to give it the extra time it needs.

Clock simulator really is a cluster of mini-games that set players against the clock. This is an interesting idea that doesn't quite go far enough meaning that the bell tolls far too quickly for this unusual indie game.

The thing is, when the gameplay only consists of repeated, evenly-timed button presses, the game quickly grows old, even with as many game modes as Clock Simulator. As a result, I found myself bored after about thirty minutes. I will say, though, that the game did remarkably well to hold my attention for thirty minutes with only the single gameplay element. Unfortunately, once my interest waned, it never returned. However, the game is cheap, and I’d say it’s worth the buy if you’re looking for a silly way to kill half an hour, especially with friends.
