If I am beating my opponent and they disconnect my rating does not go up. Disconnects should count as a loss.

I checkmated my opponent and the game ended with a draw.....players get away with disconnect(closing the game) and not losing(forfeiting)the game. I was excited to see a chess game with live online multiplayer with a rating system implemented...but man what a disappointment this is. Sad but true. Does nintendo allow anyone to to sell a game on the eshop. Just the worst chess game ever. It does not have all the chess rules implemented. I can't even make castling. Developer should be ashamed.

I haven't even tried online (which sounds problematic given other reviews) but just having played the AI I noticed a particularly egregious problem: in multiple games I've been in a winning position and all of the sudden "DRAW" comes up on the screen without warning, game over. What!? Apparently there is some incorrect logic at work on stalemate detection. Word of advice: when the AI starts sacrificing its pieces don't take them all, I believe when just a king and pawns are left it can trigger a stalemate if the king can't move.

To castle, drag the king all the way to the Rook. I too was befuddled on that one since all standard games you drag the king to the destination square. But not here.

Half-baked game in desparate need of some updates. I'd avoid for now.

Saw it on sale for 1.99 so I bought it. Played a my first 30min online classic game. Had a guy beat. Once he realized he was going to lose, he still had 10min left on his counter. I had 5min left. Either he put his switch to sleep or he just sat there and watched his time go all the way down to zero like I did. Once his timer got to zero. Nothing happened. It didn’t force the game to be over because he was out of time. It just stayed on the same screen waiting for his turn. There was no prompt saying I won, or even that it was a draw since he ran out of time. Nothing. Just zero on his timer, me still having 5min left and the game waiting for him to make his turn. Obnoxious. Can’t believe I had to sit there and watch his timer go down from 10min to zero and nothing happened. I had to close the game completely down and restart it to play another match. Fix this glitch please. Expand

i played a game where his king was not able to move and it said draw, but he had a pawn he was able to play... the button for ask a draw should not be the R button because 4times i had click it accidentally and i was winning. also when you ask a draw the decision should be only for this turn. i played a game where i accidentally press the draw button and after a lot of moves the playeri played a game where his king was not able to move and it said draw, but he had a pawn he was able to play... the button for ask a draw should not be the R button because 4times i had click it accidentally and i was winning. also when you ask a draw the decision should be only for this turn. i played a game where i accidentally press the draw button and after a lot of moves the player accept my draw proposition when he realize he was going to lose. I gave my opponent a double check. They castled out of it. That's illegal. Fix it
