This game is unplayable as it stands right now. The tutorial of the game is terrible and almost non-existent. What’s worst is the UI is terrible. I have played through the entire campaign with the actual physical board game, and this broken hot garbage mess is a terrible representation of the game. The menu system is broken, if you choose a full 6 player campaign, I have not found a way to remove players later if you start a new campaign. Going back and forth through starting menu options is a terrible mess. Going back and forth through starting menu options is a terrible mess. When you start playing the game the controls often leave the play area and are hard to understand what you're working with. The UI isn't user friendly when choosing where to place your pieces. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this game a year ago when we played through the campaign, but I feel like we're going to have to play the actual board game again to figure out how to play this video game since it is not very clear. The selections you will be making are not prompted by help/tips. I hope the developers make changes to the game to make it playable, as it stands right now, avoid. Graphics are great, but the game doesn't make any sense. Expand

Chartstone is emblematic of too many digital board game adaptations. This is primarily for those who are already familiar with the game and its rules. Coming into this blind is a bad idea. Heck, playing this locally with newcomers is a challenge unless you have someone on hand to explain the game in detail. Charterstone appears to be a fun game that I someday look forward to playing in physical board game form. Maybe then, I’ll be able to revisit this digital incarnation with friends and enjoy it far more.
