  • Summary: Peace is shattered in the peaceful kingdom of Caveheart when a mysterious cave called "Zerg" appears from the ground. After the knights who were exploring the cave disappear, King Ramos seals off the cave. After the knights who were exploring the cave disappear, King Ramos seals off the cave. Meanwhile, treasure hunter Gray, who was imprisoned for stealing the royal treasure, is offered a deal by the king: "If you retrieve five Hope Crystals from Zerg's Cave, you will be pardoned."

    Gray enters the cave, uncovers its secrets, and fights ferocious monsters. After obtaining the crystals, Gray is released, but returns to the cave out of curiosity. He confronts the dark lord Valdos, and in an attempt to destroy the Crystal of Life, Gray accidentally unleashes Valdos' dark magic, and the world falls into chaos.
