Jul 31, 2020The art is gorgeous, and the decision selection is so vast! It's also amazing to see a Korean voice cast!

Aug 12, 2020The game is well-written, interesting and possesses a very engaging cast of characters. The mystery consistently had me eager to learn and explore more, and kept me invested in the game throughout.

Aug 17, 2020It takes approximately 20 to 30 hours to go through all routes. The character development is fantastic and the plot is indeed engaging, despite the saving and loading system can be a little tedious.

Aug 24, 2020Beautiful artwork and great voice. K-POP audition is well described. Especially, the post messages in SNS are thrilling realistic and I was totally absorbed in the game for tens of hours. 10 out of 10.

Sep 13, 2020Amazing story and SNS system. The characters were attractive and it really touch me. However Communication system had come inconvenient points.

Jan 21, 2022The story and it’s themes are impactful, with a strong cast of characters that have a lot of depth to them. Beautiful art and music, with replayability due to the alternate endings. Truly a good game with realism and maturity.

Oct 19, 2020I really enjoyed Buried Stars, but being overwhelmed by how in-depth and involved all of the mechanics were was a frequent occurrence. The presentation was easily my favorite aspect, but it thankfully didn’t do too much heavy lifting on the whole experience. I’ve never seen any other games from this developer before, but Buried Stars left a very good impression and I’m going to keep my eye out for their future releases. I hope they continue to push for worldwide releases for their games, and even with an imperfect localization, I think Buried Stars benefited from getting this kind of push. If you crave mystery visual novels, are okay overlooking the issues I mentioned, this game should be on your radar.

Sep 12, 2020Buried Stars will challenge you to solve mysteries while trapped in a collapsing studio with a few survivors as you struggle to build rapport and maintain your own sanity. Overall, it's a gripping story that will have you replaying until you reach its ultimate conclusion.

Aug 27, 2020Buried Stars could have been a 5/5 game, easily. Unfortunately, the narrative thought behind the game really relied on me having a personal interest in the characters and their plight, and thanks to the inelegant and overly literal localisation, it became impossible to see them as anything but constructs and narrative tools. Buried Stars is still good enough to work as an academic thought exercise, but I do wish I understood Korean, so I could play the game the way it should be.
