Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps And Beans is a love letter to the career of both Italian actors and arcade side-scrolling brawlers. If you find yourself in either camp, this is a highly recommended option. If you happen to be on both groups, this is truly a no-brainer – even the relatively high price is more than justified by the quality and quantity of content that will keep you smiling, at least while the ride lasts.

It lasts about three hours, just over a feature film of the irresistible duo.

Slaps and Beans is a game that shows that living in the past isn't always a good thing. Only those who love their fighting games will see something good in this game.

On the one hand the fan in me wants to give this game 10 out of 10.
It's like a dream come true: A brawler with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, with multiple references to their flicks, original soundtracks, sound effects of impacting fists and a few funny mini games relating to the films, all carried by a silly story like we're used to.
On the other hand this game has some serious flaws which make me lower the score considerably. First of all some texts in the interludes can disappear way too quickly, not enough time to read them (can't expect voice acting in such a low budget game). Then there is that one boss on stilts at the fun fair which takes ages to beat due to some bug and finally the AS (artificial stupidity) of the CPU controlled character during the final boss encounter.
If you are a fan of the Italian duo, this game is worth a try. If not, pass your way.
