Amazing game to play with friends or at least with one friend, it really loses a bit if you play alone. The game has nice but not breathtaking visuals, okay-ish soundtrack but cool rouge-like gameplay with a variety of different guns to use, artefacts to get and monsters to kill. Perks of the playable characters make them really different and change the way you play.

At times it is too addictive and it's hard to stop but maybe it's just me.

A good and moderately complex game for the genre of "Rogue-lite".
of the advantages I can note beautiful and vivid graphics, cool sounds, complex bosses and cool mechanics with artifacts.
The game also supports up to 4 players per 1 pc, so if you have a couple of friends, you can have fun together. Of the minuses: A small number of bugs, for me personally there are not enough enemies

A charming twin-stick shooter roguelike that is only held back by its scope and ambition.

The Style is nice but that was all positive.
The game is exremely boring. The view collect ables you can get
are completely useless. So when you die (always at the same boss because the game is so unbalanced), you start with nothing again. Why should I play on that game ? There is absolutely no reason. Especially there are games like the handy-game "soulknight" that has a lot of more

There is absolutely no reason. Especially there are games like the handy-game "soulknight" that has a lot of more content, more bosses, more rooms, moor items, more chars, moor crafting, more of EVERYTHING! And its free and not PayToWin! Blazing Beaks costs 15$, but why ??

I’m almost embarrassed by how many hours I’ve sunken into Blazing Beaks. An absolute steal when it hits its sale price of $1.99, it’s a really rewarding twin stick shooter with a lot of character and excellent polish.

Ok, so this is a twin stick shooter, like Enter the Gungeon, but not quite as good. It does have the brilliant idea of players picking up items that handicap them rather than help them, and the worse you are handicapped the better items you can trade them in for when you finally find a shop. However, the levels feel way too cramped, I suffered way too many unavoidable deaths, and didn’t get a sense of any meaningful progression in the game or in my skills that I experienced in Enter the Gungeon. It seemed like it would suck up many hours to beat, but wasn’t worth the time. Considering I only paid $2 for this, I give it 7/10. But I’ve spent roughly $2 on better switch games: Caveblazers, Mutant Mudds, Downwell, Gonner, Dadish 1&2, Broforce, Mother Russia Bleeds, to name a few..... Expand

This is my favourite Rogue-like among all the ones I have installed on my switch.

eShop hidden gem! I love this rogue-lite twin-stick shooter!!! It's creative, clever, and just genuine fun to play. The daily challenges and global leader boards keep it interesting. It takes a long time to get through all of the item/gun unlocks, but that just encourages you to keep playing the addictive gameplay loop!

This game is so fun and so underrated! Really fun to play solo but also as a couch co-op. Do yourself a favour and get it!

This is an ok multi-player game that bot me and the wife enjoyed. The only negative for me was the outdated pixelated graphics, modern graphics with some good lighting effects would have improved this game a lot. A worthy purchase though as good offline multiplayer games that can be played on a single screen are rare! This is something more developers need to work on in my opinion.

Hidden gem that should stay hidden. Absolutely boring, unbalanced and I don't get why you can't even play handheld?? Bought for 99 cents and still would like to refund it.

Risk-reward mechanics find a colorful ally in Blazing Beaks. This indie roguelike offers great replayability and a very fun local multiplayer.

Blazing Beaks is a good first venture into console games for Applava. This team clearly loves the twin-stick roguelike genre, and despite needing some fine-tuning, I enjoyed my time with it. With just a few tweaks, this would be a solid recommendation to fans of the genre.

Blazing Beaks was a nice little surprise and I thoroughly recommend it for fans of the genre. It loses a few points in my eyes for a rather bland soundtrack and a complete lack of narrative. Overall, though, it’s a fun little game and worthy to sit among the others.
