    For a homage to a game from the 80's, faithfully recreating a gameplay system that was invented 40 years ago, Bishoujo Battle Cyber Panic! feels like a modern, funky game. The anime aesthetic is gorgeous and current, although perhaps a little too safe given that Azur Lane: Crosswave borrows from the same aesthetic while upping the fan service ante significantly. However, Cyber Panic! also has plenty of replay value and an excellent leaderboard system for such a minimal price. Most compelling of all, though, is the fact that the game is an uncomplicated and well-done take on Qix. Qix the kind of game that doesn't need developers to mess around with it, and to the great credit of Bishoujo Battle Cyber Panic!'s developer, they've let the base game stand for itself.

    While I understand what Bishoujo Battle Cyber Panic! was trying to do, it ultimately fails to provide anything novel to the table and doesn’t go anywhere near being as zany as Gals Panic did. If you have a few bucks and like both Qix and anime girls with no sense of artistic consistency, then go for it. Otherwise, I’d just go play one of the original games.

    The game go in immediately through your eyes but, as most of the times, looks better than it is. Pros:

    Too short, I unlocked all the pictures in one hour. No incentive to continue play once you unlock all the pictures. Once you unlock a picture there is nothing you can do like zoom it to appreciate it better.
    The music is nice but there are just a few songs so after a while playing it gets a little repetitive. The art seems to be a mix of artists and styles but not all are bishoujo, it is supposed all the girls should be beautiful. I hated the level 4 all pictures are ugly AF. The picture you unlock is the same no matter the difficultly you choose, so there is no incentive to try a higher difficult. In general I enjoyed the game the hour I played. Now I don’t have any incentive to replay the game. I would love if the game give you a nice reward after finish the stage in a higher Difficulty, I guess they can’t “heat” the images up because of the Nintendo family friendly environment but is not about to show pornography, it’s about to get a reward with a variant picture with more flesh.
