Jun 17, 2025Ultimately, Biomorph is a serviceable addition to the metroidvania subgenre that I think most fans of the content will enjoy thanks to the appealing look of its graphics and the novelty of the main character’s ability to transform. It might not break much new ground, but a solid experience doesn’t necessarily have to.

May 14, 2025While I enjoy the characters and animation, BIOMORPH doesn’t bring many new elements to the metroidvania genre. If you’re looking for a new entry point, then BIOMORPH could be a great choice, but veterans may be left wanting more.

While future titles could push this concept further, it remains a rock-solid addition to the genre that will satisfy most players. The game’s distinctive art style and endearing characters pull you into its world, while rebuilding and personalizing the city of Blightmoor lets you leave your own mark on its streets.
