    Playing Battle Supremacy: Ground Assault was an enjoyable experience. I enjoyed playing through the campaign even if the story was something I felt like I had heard before.

    Some may argue that the worst thing a game can be is boring more so than bad. At least a broken experience can become memorable for its atrocities. Battle Supremacy - Ground Assault exists in that unfortunate purgatory of being functional but completely unremarkable in every way. With no shortage of superior alternatives, you’re better off going AWOL on this mission.

A very poor port, at 5 times the cost of its apparently superior versions, called "Infinite tanks".

    Gameplay-wise, it offers an unimpressive lineup of bot matches to play in. The campaign is essentially all bot matches with a few divergent win conditions hastily thrown in, and the actual bot-multiplayer matches are blatantly lacking in custom options besides map and gamemode settings. Amidst the repetitive AI behaviour, combat can be entertaining in a mindless, budget-game way.

    What makes this an awful purchase is, stacked with the exorbitant price, this product features faulty menus that occasionally fail to register input, fail to save certain settings, load each part model for 2-3 seconds before allowing you to cycle past it in the sequence, lack QOL shortcuts or lists, and have actually crashed the game at least once. It also lacks proper touch screen support, as the action of using your finger to aim will translate into a bafflingly jagged camera motion, akin tapping an 8-directional D-pad to simulate analogous movement.

    The offence that i consider refund-worthy, however, is the lack of cores feature that.... I must *assume* exist in the other versions. Some parts can only be attained through a rewards menu, which blatantly does not exist in this version. even the help menu shows an image of the main menu that does not match the ingame one. I am forced to assume that this version had it's mobile app style monetization gutted for the nintendo release, and had it replaced wit... *nothing*. So those rewards that the game insists it is giving you remain inaccessible, since apparently this slight change in progression-- or at least menu design, to hide the issue-- was not a high enough priority in the porting process of this 3 1/2 year-old game.

    Due to the rocky road that is game development, it is generally considered reductionist or tacky to accuse development teams of "laziness" in face of dissatisfaction.
