Barony offers a unique challenge where the player(s) must learn from their mistakes and conquer the dungeon. Barony looks great and runs very smoothly on the Nintendo Switch. The player can choose from a variety of classes that have drastically different play styles that make every play through interesting.

One of the best roguelikes on steam hands down. You as a Jester Skeleton named "Funny Bones McGee" run around the first level of the minds, get accosted by rats find a cool rock that for some reason is cursed and then die because of an indiana jones boulder. 10/10 would recommend (and have recommended) to anyone who is a fan of roguelikes

Easily one of my favorite Roguelike games of all time. Barony is the perfect example of a difficult indie-dev roguelike. The mechanics are well-thought-out and reward knowledge and skill, and every run feels different. I have sunken well over 100 hours of playtime into Barony on PC and the Switch version of the game is just as fun as it is on PC. I created this account for the sole purpose of reviewing this incredible game. As to not spoil anything I will keep this short, but this game is worth the price easily. After only 40 hours I bought both dlcs and have yet to regret it. Incredibly fun and worth the buy.

Tons of fun for less than chill gaming with the bros. Fantastic times constantly switching up our races, classes, and builds/playstyles. Infinite replayability!

Such a unique, fun dungeon delver. DLC adds tons of class and race diversity and each class feels unique and fun.

To be sincere, this game is one of best games in Eshop, everyone should have it, not only the base game, but all the dlcs as well. Thank you a lot Turning Wheel and Barony community, you guys are awesome and did a great job! Expand

The visual facade of Barony does little to hide the fact that it's a dumpster fire of game design, and its alleged smooth performance on the Nintendo Switch is a flimsy consolation for the torturous gameplay experience. The assortment of classes is like a collection of broken tools, each one more useless than the last, ensuring that every attempt at playing this disaster is equally exasperating and unrewarding. Traditional rogue-like that's accessible and fun to play. Complex and secretive, but not not obtuse. Personally, it's been so refreshing to play something that doesn't hold your hand. When you die it's usually because you made a mistake so it feels satisfying to keep trying and succeed.

I actually feel like i'm going on an adventure into a dangerous place instead of pushing buttons
