Automachef fails to really shine in any particular regard, and the control issues push an overall all right game towards mediocre territory. There’s so little depth to the puzzle solving that even now I struggle to really say anything about it that I haven’t already said. The best solution is too often to just brute force your way through the puzzles with little finesse or cleverness. Perhaps there’s an intentional meta-joke at play commenting on automation being able to push its way into jobs that humans could handle with more artistry, but all it leads to is a game that’s as rote and monotonous as the average job that could be done by a robot.

It's a hash of what comes out of the brain of a guy who sits in front of a screen for 18 hours a day. I get the overall concept. A unique puzzler with different solutions to the same problem. Be creative and inventive. It falls flat because the solution is locked behind EXACTLY what ONE person wanted as the solution. Sure, you can come up with minor variances, but they aren't really different at all. Just google your solution. I'm sure sado-masochists will love this, otherwise, steer clear. Full Review »

This is great if you only have fraction of time to play and would like to be able to turn it off at any seconds while still being able to feel engaging and challenged, this is it. The game focus on logic and problem solving, especially if you're aiming for perfect score. I lose interests in games quickly, and this is one of a few that I'd stay. Full Review »
