  • Summary: The ultimate space battle is about to begin as you face off against the Gaplus forces! Fly around in eight directions and fire missiles to destroy enemies. Defeat all the enemies to advance to the next parsec. Obtain Blaster Head power-ups by destroying the enemies that carry them. Collect parts for your fighter by destroying the enemies that carry them. Complete a full set to earn an extra fighter.     Being a shoot-em-up with an emphasis on racking up a high score, Gaplus is well-positioned to take advantage of the extra modes and online leaderboards that are a standard part of the Arcade Archives package. If you enjoy Galaga, I’m confident you’ll also really have a good time with this under-the-radar sequel. As single-screen shooters go, it’s frankly one of the better ones.
