    Absolum earns its place as one of the best beat ‘em ups available, with its tight combat and beautiful visuals, and the roguelite elements add enough variety to keep things engaging, even if they aren’t as varied as they could be. No, Absolum doesn’t push boundaries or redefine expectations. It simply delivers a rock-solid, highly polished take on a classic formula that’s consistently fun, especially with a friend - whether that’s an elf or a dwarf.

    Absolum is a strong roguelite with enough content to keep you busy for hours and fun characters to try out. If you’re a fan of beat ‘em up games with challenging bosses, then certainly pick this game up.

    Absolum takes elements from beat'em ups, brawlers, and roguelites, and presents some of the best elements of those genres in an action-packed experience with a fantasy theme. The dynamic and varied combat gives the players all possible incentives to try different combinations and styles, and the game's exploration and progress are structured in a way that becomes very addictive, very quickly, with that classic 'just one more go' feeling that takes us back the arcades.
