39 Days to Mars succeeds as a one-hour coop game whereas the solo experience is quite frustrating, due to the way the puzzles were conceived. The art direction is a treat though and both characters are true witty British clichés.

The ambition may not coincide with the final result in games such as 39 Days to Mars, but it is clear that, from the point of view of the videogame analyst, indie studios like It's Anecdotal make us optimistic about the artistic quality of the industry in the immediate future.
