Nov 11, 2021Fun little indie action adventure with a great soundtrack. The wave-riding mechanics are really fun and the world is beautifully designed. The battles and platforming are kept rather simple, but still entertaining.
The only drawback is the short game length and the rather linear main quest, -
Nov 12, 2021This is a great game. It runs really smooth, has nice music and a very beautiful art style. The platforming is great. It is rather short, but I like short games.

Nov 12, 2021Fantastic built world with a great art style and flowing movement. Short and simple, but feels like it has heart.
When it ended I wanted to play more, it's the kinda game I might come back and play again.
Not complex game play, but just a great experience. -
Nov 13, 2021Wonderfully told story. Traversal mechanics and graphics absolute highlights as well
-
Nov 11, 2021Wonderful game with excellent artistic style and great mechanics. Surfing over the water to the fantastic sound track is incredibly worthwhile.
-
Nov 23, 2021Superb graphics, and awesome storyline. I can get lost in time surfing around the map and jumping through the various "slides". A game that you shouldn't miss...

Dec 19, 2021This game was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. Finished it in 3 days. Very impressive game. Engaging and captivating. Simple loop, it constantly made me want to play.

Dec 29, 2021Heartfelt storyline, smooth-as-silk mechanics and just plain fun to play. There are some wonky camera angles, but they aren't too distracting. I would have liked to see more replayability, but the journey is worth the price of admission.

Feb 13, 2022Beautiful, relaxing game with a really good story and gameplay mechanics. I actually found myself exploring a lot. Definitely recommend the game.

Nov 23, 2021beautiful game, good story. A lot of care was put into making getting around fun.
Feels kind of like what would happen if you mixed Immortals fenyx rising with submerged hidden depths. Combat is simple and not the point of the game. Using your abilities in flowy ways is. That lends itself to making for a very relaxing game.
Shocking that I haven't seen any critic reviews. It's well polished. -
Nov 21, 2021Very good game. I'm enjoiying too much. It's like a mix of Zelda Wind Waker and Sonic 3D in an open world. The story it's very inclusive and against the capitalism. A Must have.

Dec 29, 2021A chilled, beautiful game with a lot of charm and heart to it, plus satisfying surfing action and some light puzzle solving. The main story is only about 5 hours, but I enjoyed my time with the game. Played it via the stadia pro subscription, well worth your time as a nice diversion between bigger games.

Feb 21, 2022A very relaxing game that any casual gamer can jump in and play. The story is simple and to complete the full game doesn't take very long.

Jan 3, 2022Wavetale offers players several hours of low-stress fun, with a great traversal system and non-taxing combat. Along the way, it tells a sweet story about family. With pleasant visuals, beautiful music, and gameplay that most gamers will be able to autopilot through, Wavetale offers a fun way to while away a quiet afternoon.

Nov 24, 2021Wavetale is a pleasant surfing adventure that is short, but does not overstay its welcome with unnecessary padding. This First on Stadia release is perfect for those subscribed to Stadia Pro.
