    Fun little indie action adventure with a great soundtrack. The wave-riding mechanics are really fun and the world is beautifully designed. The battles and platforming are kept rather simple, but still entertaining.
    The only drawback is the short game length and the rather linear main quest,

    This is a great game. It runs really smooth, has nice music and a very beautiful art style. The platforming is great. It is rather short, but I like short games.

    Fantastic built world with a great art style and flowing movement. Short and simple, but feels like it has heart.
    When it ended I wanted to play more, it's the kinda game I might come back and play again.

    Not complex game play, but just a great experience.

    Wonderful game with excellent artistic style and great mechanics. Surfing over the water to the fantastic sound track is incredibly worthwhile.

    Superb graphics, and awesome storyline. I can get lost in time surfing around the map and jumping through the various "slides". A game that you shouldn't miss...

    The graphic art is very beautiful, the story is engaging and the gameplay is very delicious. I recommend everyone to play this game on Google Stadia.

    This game was good enough that I made an account just so I could leave a review. I absolutely loved the story and art style. The movement really is a highlight of this game, Surfing, diving, and a net that is effectively a grappling hook all feel fantastic--and when you finish the game, there's a free play mode just to play with them. (IMO, all games should have that). The platforming puzzles ramp up in difficulty over time. I wouldn't describe any of them as "punishing," but some of them get really challenging.

    I do have a couple of minor gripes. The camera does its best to follow the action, but sometimes it wrests control from you, causing you to miss a ledge in a platforming section. There's one quest that I completed that allowed the story to advance, but didn't check it off of my quest log. The combat could also be improved (more details below).

    Overall, I give the game a solid 9/10. I'm not sure how I feel about the $30 asking price--I got the game for free--but if it's ever on sale for $15 or $20 you won't regret picking it up.

    If the devs end up reading this, I have a few more technical thoughts on the combat. The heavy attack (Y) feels like it takes just a little too long to charge up. I understand that the more powerful attack should have a risk/cost attached to it, but I mostly just didn't use it because I would get hit and my attack would be cancelled before Sigrid starts spinning.

    One possible solution: leave the heavy attack as it is, but remove the knockback on the ground slam. Several times, I would let enemies get close to me, stun them with the ground slam, and then use the heavy attack to clear the area. However, it didn't always work--sometimes the enemies were out of range.

    Great and intriguing short experience, with a good story, charming characters and dynamic exploration gameplay. The art style is really cute and the soundtrack has really great ambient pieces. The character movement is great and responsive, especially the surfing aspect. Really bummed that the combat gameplay is not that expanded upon, too.     This game was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. Finished it in 3 days. Very impressive game. Engaging and captivating. Simple loop, it constantly made me want to play.

    Heartfelt storyline, smooth-as-silk mechanics and just plain fun to play. There are some wonky camera angles, but they aren't too distracting. I would have liked to see more replayability, but the journey is worth the price of admission.

    Beautiful, relaxing game with a really good story and gameplay mechanics. I actually found myself exploring a lot. Definitely recommend the game.

    beautiful game, good story. A lot of care was put into making getting around fun.

    Feels kind of like what would happen if you mixed Immortals fenyx rising with submerged hidden depths. Combat is simple and not the point of the game. Using your abilities in flowy ways is. That lends itself to making for a very relaxing game.

    Shocking that I haven't seen any critic reviews. It's well polished.

    Very good game. I'm enjoiying too much. It's like a mix of Zelda Wind Waker and Sonic 3D in an open world. The story it's very inclusive and against the capitalism. A Must have.

    For me Wavetale was a real surprise! Without Stadia Pro i wouldn't have tested it, so i had no expectations. The story is more recent than ever. The graphics are good, no highend graphics with photo realism, but the developer created a good looking world with many little details.
    The gameplay is quite simple, so it never get's frustrating. On the other hand it's just demanding enough not    For me Wavetale was a real surprise!     A chilled, beautiful game with a lot of charm and heart to it, plus satisfying surfing action and some light puzzle solving. The main story is only about 5 hours, but I enjoyed my time with the game. Played it via the stadia pro subscription, well worth your time as a nice diversion between bigger games.

    Wavetale offers players several hours of low-stress fun, with a great traversal system and non-taxing combat. Along the way, it tells a sweet story about family.     Wavetale is a pleasant surfing adventure that is short, but does not overstay its welcome with unnecessary padding. This First on Stadia release is perfect for those subscribed to Stadia Pro.
