Jul 21, 2020I loved the zany nature of this game - it's a pretty imaginative take on skateboarding games while still providing an homage to Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Would love more games like this on Stadia.

Sep 29, 2021Sorry, I didn't like this one. The controls are very complicated, the tutorial is not much help, the game progress is unnecessarily difficult to achieve and the story is the only nice thing about the game, but unfortunately nothing more.

Aug 9, 2021This game in theory is awesome. But for people like me the reflex action is too hard. Level design doesn't lend itself to less skilled players. Making the game a lot of fun with a super soundtrack but a healthy dose of frustration.

Sep 16, 2021Tony Hawk, 80's synthwave, boats, animals, and GTA had a baby. This is it. It's a unique one, and worth a play.

Oct 16, 2020If you love a "totally radical!" style and want to lay down some “skateboating” tricks, Wave Break is the game for you. While the high learning curve and nonexistent online base may turn off casual players, Stadia fans that want a fun little game on the platform should check this one out.

Jun 24, 2020Wave Break is Tony Hawks Pro Skater on water, and yes, it's as wild, wacky and occasionally wonderful as that sounds. It boasts the same combo-driven, objective-led action that skateboarding fans have come to know and love, and if you’ve grown up with Mr Hawks’ games there’s every chance you’ll enjoy Wave Break, as long as you can forgive some of its rough edges.

Jun 23, 2020Wave Break is a blast of a skateboarding game – once you get through its nearly impenetrable shield of difficulty. With tons of moves to learn and master, and some deep and dense levels to explore, Wave Break offers a variety of gameplay options to keep things fresh. Just remember to explore the game's modes on your own, because Wave Break isn't interested in explaining things to you.
