This is the best part in the series, over the past 10-15 years, very atmospheric and with a more or less sane plot.

The gameplay - is standard as in other parts of the series. The plot - is strong and interesting. The atmosphere - is very coolly balanced, there is both horror and action (there is more horror). Difficulty - playing hardcore, you will get EVERYTHING that is required

Difficulty - playing hardcore, you will get EVERYTHING that is required from a resident evile (at lower difficulties you will lose the whole essence of the game).
Puzzles - there are a LOT of them and very diverse and very interesting.
Back tracking - is probably the biggest of all the previous parts.
Enemies - there are many of them, each with its own characteristics (both externally and gameplay).
Bosses and mini-bosses - there are many of them, all varied and interesting, with several phases.

Magnificent!!! Hands down one of the best Resident Evil games in years! it's got everything from the survival horror genre, mixed well with action & adventure elements. Fun bosses, awesome story with a mind-blowing twist and it's decently long for a RE game. Oh and it looks incredible! This is a 10/10 MUST BUY game, it's just a great experience and value! Well done to the developers. :)

    I loved Resident Evil Village.
While it didn’t take resident evil 7s place as my favorite resident evil game, it came pretty close.
Resident evil village is a mix of the old and a mix of the new.. This is a first person survival horror game with more of an emphasis on weapons than purely sneaking and sriviving.. which works in this setting, but I would’ve liked this to be more gradual.
Here once again like in resident evil 7 you play as ethan winters, searching for his daughter rose after their home is ambushed and the both of you are kidnapped, you find yourself in a village full of vampire meets werewolf character, and its so refreshing to not deal with lame zombies or mold creatures.. these enemies are terrifying when you first run into them… but I woulve loved a gradual lead up to actually getting some weapons in hand muck like in resident evil 7.. sneaking around this village, sneaking through the castle trying not to get caught as you got the items you needed, until finally you get a weapon, blast your way out of the castle and destroy the enemies in the village.. instead I almosti mmediatly felt untouchable.. which really killed the scary aspect of village for me.. there were definitely erie moments here for me.. but I never felt terrified the way I did in past resident evil games.. but as a more action almost first person devil may cry feeling game… village is great.. and I absolutely love the attention to detail and variety here… resident evil village is constantly switching up the areas as you set out to take down multiple targets in a vastly different setting from eachother.. theres so much to collect, find and upgrade like the older resident evil games, with the map color indicator letting you know when you’ve grabbed everything, and these a shop that just pops up along your journey to upgrade your weapons, buy ammo, or sell these crystals you pick up off of enemies, really giving you incentive to be aggressive here.. trying to afford all of the upgrades you can for your weapons..
Resident evil village does get a little lame and obring in its final stretch. .but they all do.. but not nearly as bad as 7 biohazard… if youre ready for resident evil to get back to the way it used to but don’t want to let go the creepiness first person adds to the series.. resident evil village is a perfect mix.. I do again just wish they tried to scare me a little bit more… much like in the maiden demo… more of that mixed into resident evil village, and this couldve reached masterpiece level..
    I give Resident Evil Village
    a 9/10

Very great game. A must to play.

Game is around 10 hours, no cinematic included. Shorter if you dont bother treasures. + aim stabiliteit, great improvement
    + character design
    + story +visuals
    + sound
+ level design - less scary jumps

Tips: go for treasures = more money = more upgrades for your weapons

Capcom you are incredible, this game has become a real discovery. Delight did not leave throughout the passage. The way they worked on the village is worthy of applause. A true child's delight, involvement in the gameplay, a real gift for everyone who appreciates single-player story games. Respect, it was very cool !

Stadia version platform runs perfectly flawless! Fast and smooth! Beautiful next gen graphics and amazing RE game full of so much horror themed fun, tense gameplay. A truly top job to Google Stadia and Capcom for bringing this. Also the Stadia Resident Evil 8 Village Premiere Edition Bundle is a truly amazing offer to get the game on.

I played this entirely on a wired CCU with Stadia controller. Wonderful performance with no stutters at all. Speaking for the game, RE Village is a blend of of Resident Evil 7 and 4, which are arguably the best of the modern RE games. It is more action heavy than 7 with a few excellent scares and an excellent follow up story to Ethan and Mia's adventure. Must buy on any platform.

I was shocked at the value I got out of this game for as short as the story is. I loved the experience and even played through the plus mode. If I speed me to look into other RE games as I haven’t experienced one since RE2

Most certainly one of the most memorable, and almost the best, Resident Evil games ever. Of all the entires in the series, this one perhaps has the most enjoyable re-play value.

Stadia version hits that sweet spot for performance and graphics, always looking great while never suffering from any issues like slowdown or crashes (or long install/updates like other versions)

Since the unveiling of the first trailer, the gothic art style of this game has caught my interested. And one thing that I was sure, I didn’t wanted anyone to spill me the fun to discover the game by myself.

Yes, I’m talking about Resident Evil 8. The last time which I has been so much excited for a RE game was in 2004 when Resident Evil 4 came out on the Gamecube. Like its predecessor, Resident Evils 8 doesn’t disappointed and it delivers beyond your expectations.

Starting with a dark fable fully animated as an introduction of the game, you're not sure in what you’re going into with Resident Evil 8. Then, living a normal life with your family, the lead protagonist from the previous game, Ethan Hunters is back. Not being a fan of the character, I was unsure of this choice at first. When suddenly, your wife Mia is being murder right in front of you by a friend and a familiar face from the franchise, Chris Redfield.

Confused like the central character of the game, you’re caught unguarded. Subsequently, you’re being knocked down to wake up at a crash site which will lead you to the village. Then, the mood has been set and your adventure awaits you down the cliff. Starting that moment, you’re in for a wild ride.

Being inspired by the most appreciated RE games, 4 and 7 particularly. Resident Evil 8 created this perfect experienced with a first person view. From the village to Dimitrescu’s castle or from the dolls house to the reservoir, all those location are giving something new and fresh while staying true to its roots.

Like any other RE games the graphic are outstanding, but its art direction are really stealing the show here. The gameplay is similar from Resident Evil 7 while improving the game mechanic.

If during the previous game, Ethan Hunters was lacking of charisma. He doesn’t change much in this game, but you learn to appreciate his personality for who he is while at the end making him a worthy hero of RE universe.

Knowing RE 8 it’s the second part of a trilogy, I’m looking forward with excitement for its conclusion in Resident Evil 9. This is how much I have enjoy and love playing Resident Evils 8 on Stadia.

    My score: 94

Not the survival horror I expetced after Resident Evil 7, since it has way more action, in special in the last Quarter, but it makes fun anyway.

All and all, Resident Evil Village is more than playable on Google Stadia, even with the drawbacks. When your experience is dependent on internet connection speeds, you can’t really complain about not getting every bell and whistle a console loaded with your game would have. Village is both convenient and competent on Stadia, and while yes, the frame rate and resolution drops can be disappointing, playing on the go is a nice benefit, even if I’m not sure it’s a worthy compromise.
