Aug 10, 2021A short touching game with unique mechanics. The story will make you cry and the design is beautiful - adding to the impact of the story.
This is going to keep you busy for many 10's of hours, but if you play with a youngster, it'll be a bonding experience. Some games are works of art. This fits that category. -
Aug 8, 2021Never had a game pull tears out of me before. And then I played Lost Words: Beyond the Page. Maybe it was me, and it hit me in all the right places. but hands down this was the game that left the biggest impressions on me in 2020.

Oct 20, 2020This game has an amazing art style, and a great story that will fill you with sadness and many other emotions. The artistic design to it is very nice, and vivid. The journal part has a watercolor feel. The parts in estoria have a similar painter feel, but are very different. The only downside is it is a little short (6 1/2 hours). This title is very worth-while

Aug 9, 2021This story driven game is very easy to play and of course the Story is fantastic. Only downside is, the story's narration audio is just in English and my kids can't read fast enough yet.

Aug 8, 2021This is the most amazing Narrative Game I have ever played. Full stop. This is amazing and brought me to weepy eyes a few times. If you have not played this game. Play it. There where times I took the game from my TV to phone to just be alone while the feels beat me up. Game is beautiful and has such an amazing story that I can't recommend it enough.

Apr 18, 2020Sketchbook Games' narrative platform/puzzler is appropriate for all ages, but that doesn't stop it from going to some surprisingly dark places. Though the platforming and light puzzle solving are enjoyable (if none too challenging), the story and artwork are the stars of the show. Impatient players might want to stay away, but for those interested in a life affirming story about overcoming obstacles and learning to deal with regrets, Lost Words is a beautiful experience.

Apr 10, 2020Lost Words is a touching tale with exceptionally grounded writing, but be ready to go through a middling execution in order to get the best out of it.
