ClayD.Aug 7, 2006The AI is great, but the game freezes in the middle of tournaments. It is also VERY slow to load.

DougDejesusDec 9, 2005i would rate this game higher but it keeps freezing up on me in tournaments. i have gone through 2 games so far hoping that the first game i bought just had a defect but the second one i bought did the same thing. i get down to about 40 people out of 250 and thats when it happens. it takes a long time to get there too. other than that this game is pretty cool.

DaveD.Nov 7, 2006Just jumping into the mix. At first I thought the freezing was just a random fluke. But, after 5 straight times of having it freeeze at the 4th or 5th round of blinds of the same 200 person tournament, I knew it had to be a programming flaw. This game is now an expensive paperweight.

DonP.Mar 18, 2008Clearly, Crave Entertainment could care less that they have developed a game that you cannot complete a 200 or 300 player tournament. More than a dozen times I have made it into the final 20 as the chip leader (or in the top 10), and the game stops. All attempts to contact Crave have been unsuccessful.

ScottT.Dec 1, 2005I like the graphics. I find the game very difficult to win in large tournaments. I was hoping to see more celebs beside raymer and lederer at this point in the career mode. outside if that I enjoy it.

WesleyD.Mar 31, 2006It seems to happen to everyone else as well ,so it seems to be true. This is a MAJOR draw back in career mode. I spent 2+ hours getting up the board only to have it freeze. The game is pretty good overall but this is a huge defecit which overwhelms the game form being great.

TerrellW.Jan 24, 2006The freezing up of that happens in the big tourneys kills the whole game for me. I was Rank #1 on the leader board with 8 people left to knock off and it freezes up. Hate it.

JackS.Feb 11, 2006This game is worthless. It freezes in tournaments. End of story. I'd rather be playing solitaire or mine sweeper. I'm going to try and contact whoever is responsible and demand my money back.

AaronS.Feb 27, 2006I liked the game, then it started locking up on me. You spend the time and play hard just to get to the final table and it freezes. I hoped I was waiting for someone from another table to show up..... apparently not. At least I am not the only one who has had this problem. It takes all of the desire to play this game away.

PatrikR.Jun 11, 2006This is by far the best poker video game I've come across, however the freezing that occurs makes the game useless and takes away any desire to play. Very frustrating. I hope Crave Entertainment takes this problem and their consumers seriously.

MasterL.Oct 13, 2007This is game freezes too often making it useless and takes away any desire to play. Very frustrating. I hope Crave Entertainment takes this problem and their consumers seriously and credits thier consumers for an upgrade version of this game.

MikeD.Dec 27, 2005If you're going to buy a poker game - World Series of Poker is much better (don't believe the bad professional rating). The graphics and gameplay are head and shoulders above World Championship Poker 2. I also get the freeze up - what's the story with that? Pass on this game and go for World Series of Poker.

World Championship Poker 2's offline play is the best you'll find amid this year's competition, and the online play is still pretty engaging.
-
The game's impressive A.I. and variety of gameplay will keep players coming back for more, even with its noticeable flaws.
-
Delivers a solid and challenging PSP game that fans of all things poker will gladly take along with them.
