IvanLOct 14, 2008Valhalla Knights 2 only promises to give fans a humongous disappointment. Most games dont live up to the hype, but Valhalla Knights 2 takes it up one more level: It completely falls short of the hype. All the problems and glitches that were in the original still persist, and the fact that the world is bigger only serves to make those problems loom even larger.

Knightnyt3Oct 9, 2008Another disappointment from xseed. I thought they would have read all the reviews on the first game and would have overhauled on the 2nd one.. its still the same.. has the same problems as the first one..well if you guys like exploring fighting exploring fighting and more exploring and fighting this games is for you.. and by the way you might not notice there's a story here and so they say.

retroXOct 9, 2008I usually love this type of game, but this one is particularly awful in just about every way aside from the graphics. Stats are presented but not adequately explained, the combat is fun to watch but not satisfying at all to participate in, and the exploration suffers from lack of a decent checkpoint system and hours of dull backtracking. Strike two for this series.

With more than forty hours of gameplay, a "versus" mode for you to battle friends, and a difficulty that is stout, Valhalla Knights 2 is one of the best buys you're likely to find on the PSP for quite some time.

So once again, this fledgling series fails to impress, and while I get the idea behind the game and the mechanics that it's going for, it just feels like a lot of the elements are unnecessary and a bit too archaic for my tastes.

With the same quest and exploration issues from the first title, as well as lots of micromanagement problems and missing information, Valhalla Knights 2 almost feels like a rehash of the original title with a brand-new coat of paint.
