It seems im the only one, but i like this version more than the ps3 one! I think its because graphics are way more clear (You can actually see what You're doing - and thats some achievement given the fact, that the games pace is really frantic), and It has this old shool feeling to it. I thought I'd like all Housemarque games and was later really disappointed with Dead Nation.

This is one of the few games that I really enjoyed on psp. Even the lack of second analog didnt bothered me.
Overall - One of the best twin stick shooters on PSP.

Its extremely hard to recommend Super Stardust Portable as it only does what it can get away with. There's no big draw like for Delta. Its just the very basics. Which is a shame.

Good, short, portable, no commitment-required fun. Colorful visuals and audio, good to play when i'm waiting for my games on PC to load.

A cross between asteroids and Robotron like the similar Geometry Wars with added polygons. And like Geometry Wars, it's okay fun in small doses but gets very, very samey.

Excellent value for money and something every PSP owner must experience: it's fun, visual and audibly impressive and is perfect for a quick blast to and from the shops on the bus. Although it isn't perfect, it's more down to the hardware than it is the software, so I'll let it off just this once.

If you're a hardcore Super Stardust HD player, Super Stardust Portable will feel totally alien to you. If you're trying this out for the first time, things won't be as tough but the game is still very clearly designed around different hardware -- it just wasn't made for the PSP.
  3. Although it would've been nice to have more modes besides Arcade, Planets and the boost-happy Impact (there's no sign of Survival or Endless), this gorgeous shoot-em-up is worth its $10 price tag.
