Aug 23, 2023Absolutely boring. Only one character, uninspired battles, overcomplicated mechanics, tons of RNG, convoluted and pointless plot... I dont know what were they thinking.
-
Aug 11, 2023- The story is well-written and engaging, and it does a great job of fleshing out Zack Fair as a character.
-The characters are all likable and relatable, and they have great chemistry with each other.
-The combat is fast-paced and exciting, and it's a lot of fun to chain together combos and special attacks.
- The visuals are still impressive today, and the game has a great soundtrack. -

May 5, 2023My fourth favorite Final Fantasy game and one of the few games I owned on PSP. Bought in 2009 and beat it. Not the best combat but amazing story.
-
Apr 30, 2023It wasn't horrible, but the story is definitely a tear jerker. The lottery system is interesting and its' best feature, but once again. I feel that square enix kingdom heart series is just better at the action rpg elements. This game has a hard time holding a candle to Chain of Memories.
-
Jan 30, 2023The story is 10/10, but the Gameplay and the skill roulette lose the desire to play a lot
-
Jan 14, 2023worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this seventh game in the series.

Oct 31, 2022Juego que cambió vidas a los que lo jugaron en su momento. Mi punto de entrada a Final Fantasy y el primer videojuego que me hizo llorar. Arte.

Aug 26, 2022The most likeable character in all of Final Fantasy, a story so emotionally triggering and a soundtrack that gives me goosebumps even after years of listening to.
Great gameplay for a PSP game and so much side content.
One of my absolute favourites! -

May 29, 2022I can't believe SE thougth this combat would be fun. I'd never seen such an annoying combat in my entire life. Except for story and music, and art style, it failed on everything else.

Mar 4, 2022I have bias as this is my favorite game of all time. I'm not oblivious to its problems though. I do recommend for fans of the FF7 Universe.
-
Mar 3, 2022Despite featuring a solid gameplay loop for a handheld action game, Crisis Core is held back by a woefully shallow narrative filled with bland characters and such awkward, stilted dialogue that it would make even Final Fantasy XIII blush. Crisis Core misses the mark of what made the original Final Fantasy VII special more so than any other "Compilation" title.

Feb 21, 2022Podrán prenderle fuego decir no es canon pero es un juegazo único y el doblaje en ingles me encanta una pena que en el remake cambiaran al artista que doblo a Zack, Va por ti hermano 10

Nov 4, 2021I played and beat the game and I enjoyed it alot. The cutscenes are incredible and the gameplay is very fun especially with lottery type system. The story was awesome.

Jul 17, 2021Incredible, just as good as FFVII, with a great battle mechanic, plot and soundtrack.
-
Mar 19, 2021Excellent story, amazing characters, very good cutscenes, great amounts of side content. However it is slightly lacking in gameplay and its randomised battles are a bit too frequent.
-

Nov 4, 2020One of the best handheld games ever made! Through times this game is great nowadays too! I beat him a dozen of times and ever I enjoy the deeper storyline and the great gameplay (and awesome OST).
In fact this game fit well in all of final fantasy VII universe (better when FFVII Remake also released)....
Nice game! -

Jun 26, 2020Cool story, amazing soundtrack, great characters (especially Zack & Aerith), great graphics for its time I think? but trash gameplay especially the casino machine system. Amazing ending scene, it was really beautiful and greatly ended the game's story. Good game even if the gameplay is frustrating.

May 10, 2020Overdramatic storylines with under-developed characters; repetitive gameplay; and boring quests. the only highlight is the somber tone between Zack and Aerith regarding their inevitable fate.

BoomtownAgain, it’s nice to see the duality of the FFVII games, (it is Zack that falls into Aerith’s church this time), and a genuine attempt to develop the universe so many of us love, but simplifying the battle system, story and general style of discovery and transport leaves Crisis Core being a welcome spin off, but no replacement for a real sequel.
-
Whether you’re a Sephiroth obsessive, or whether you couldn’t tell your Aerith from your Angeal, Crisis Core is an excellent action RPG, and it’s certainly among the best the PSP has to offer.
-
Crisis Core has an addictive quality about it because you really need to know what happens next, and you’ll most certainly want to see the next glorious cutscene.
