    It's practically the same game with the same problems, and the included technical issues with slowdown, loading times and other glitches don't help it either. If you're a hardcore Blitz fan, you'll probably dismiss these issues, but otherwise, you'll find it to be a much better experience on the console than on the handheld.

    Overtime is an apt subtitle for this port of Blitz: The League, as the exceedingly lengthy load times and sluggish running speed run the game well past regulation.

    The average gameplay, long load times, and hitchy performance from last year's "Blitz: The League" is worse on the PSP, and Blitz: Overtime needs more than some ridiculously unnecessary roughness to make it a good game. [Mar 2007, p.87]
