Angry Birds was great on the iPhone and my addiction to it was pretty extreme. I purchased it to play on the PS3 hoping for a glorious HD version to be enjoyed on a large screen. While it is still a fun game, the graphics are pixelated and the default view is zoomed in- zooming out involves pressing L1 and R1 simultaneously, which you have to keep pressed to maintain that view. This is a mediocre port offering sub-par graphics, no settings menu and really nothing new as compared to the mobile version. I know this is supposed to be a "Mini" game but 'cmon guys, when I play this on the PS3 it basically feels like I'm holding a magnifying glass over my iPhone. Expand

Let me start by saying I really like Angry Birds (the original as well as Rio, Seasons, Star Wars and Space). Now I bought it for the PS3. The port itself is OK, the sticks are a bit tricky to use at the beginning, but it is not too bad. Graphics are just horrible. I expected some HD textures for the PS3, but I think the iPad version is much sharper. But definitely the worst flaw of this game would be the fact that there are only 4 worlds, while the iOS version already has 8. Still, this version is more expensive. Why? Not because of the textures.

If you have an Android/iOS device, play it on that. Don't get this silly version. Still, it is playable, so if you don't have Android/iOS you can think of buying this.

i cant stand how heavily OVER RATED this franchise is, its just throwing birds at pigs, REALLY REPETITIVE and BORING! i can't see how people are liking this, and i don't post this review only to hate on angry birds, no, this game, is EXACTLY the same as ALL of the other titles in this franchise, it was fun, for like the first couple minutes, but after that it's just up and boring. period.

This game can be split into 3 reviews; the Vita, PS3 and PSP. All of them differ, Which is odd baring in mind you only pay once for all three. The PSP game is by far the best. But feels awkward to control. The Vita copy is disgraceful. Its pixelated. Which is stupid of me to say, but, its so very, very pixelated. Worst looking game on Vita? Go on then. Overall all three games differ. Which is a shame, so i'll take a average score from all three. Which would be 4.6666667. But i just had to round up so... five. Expand

I love Angry Birds. It's a very great game and just tons of fun to play as Birds that beat up Pigs. I have played all of them expect for the first Angry Birds Star Wars game.

While the game is fun at the core, a few problems always take the immersion from the stunning atmosphere of Angry Birds. The people you launch from the slingshot, don't look like people at all! They look like some sort of bird things, that was a poor design choice, and the pigs in the base don't look like birds at all. Do the developers even know what game they are making?! Moving on, while I feel the difficulty curve is smooth, the guns and swords don't feel as powerful or as satisfying as they should, you feel like you are buttering toast when you strike down an opponent. The textures in the "bird's" base are poor, they look like they were made for the iphone or something.

    Overall, Angry Birds get 10/10.

pointless. Same old pull to get lucky and pay to win. And they make more and more money with reskins of the game. Stupid as It's crazy. You just pull and hope you win and pay to beat the level. I can do the samething getting drunk, putting a blindfold on then trying to take a piss.

The game is terrible to begin with. Winning every level takes a long time, because it takes luick to win at this game. PSP port is terrible. It lacks levels (only first 4 chapters are present), has bad controls (PSP's analog stick is no match to mouse/touchscreen in this kind of game) and it has terrible framerate that makes it nearly unplayable. Sigue siendo Angry Birds, el problema son los controles y la falta de contenido... En serio, considerando que esto es una PSP, la falta de contenido es una vergüenza.

Owners of the original won't find any new gameplay levels, but they might enjoy the precise analog-based input the PSP and PS3 sticks provide.

Angry Birds on the PSP is one really annoying bug away from being a fun game.

An infuriating test of trajectory skills and patience that will have you swearing, strooping and (perhaps most unbelievably of all) bloody well enjoying it. [Spring 2011, p.113]
