    truely one of the best if not the best ever and ever game. I played this so much back in the days and we listened to eminems album during that time. and we made amazing custom maps for it. goooood times

    Wicked fun. no other words to say. no other game will ever capture the same arcade insanity that this game achieves. while the two minute time is realistically restrictive, what it does is put you in a position of fast pace frantic-ness. meaning that you must do as much as possible with in the time within the level design. this means that you are never bored for one second cause you areWicked fun. no other words to say. no other game will ever capture the same arcade insanity that this game achieves. while the two minute time is realistically restrictive, what it does is put you in a position of fast pace frantic-ness. meaning that you must do as much as possible with in the time within the level design. this means that you are never bored for one second cause you are always trying to pull off the coolest tricks consecutively. and the level design is just PERFECT, not too big to ware you have too much of a playground to learn inside out to traverse. but not too small to ware you feel to cramped, too little for the sweet to settle in. you will be playing level designs over and over again, that's ok, as its just as simple as, if you want to get good at a game, practice.
    and the best part of this all coming together is how it just is one "RAD" and "Spectacular" tribute to skater culture of the 90's and early 2000's being an absolutely incredible time capsule that doesn't even feel dated, especially since they by pure accident, thank the heavens. this is a game I recommend to anyone if they as much as like fast paced combo building action with "tight controls" "TIGHT level design" and retro aesthetics. retro enthusiasts must play, and a must try for even regular casual games and hardcore alike.    … Expand

    It's hard to avoid nostalgia with these old games, but I was really hard into skateboarding around this time as a kid and I did not have the skills I wanted to but this game lets you feel like you were a part of a world that was so cool, fun and engaging. The gameplay was wacky, challenging, and fun. It isn't the greatest game of all time but it is a classic that should be highly regarded.

    A pretty nice game about skating. It was one of my first game that I ever bought. I remember that I had to install that on my cuisine computer cause on my it didn't work

    i think that this game is overrated. The physics and the mechanics aren't very good and the game play is very repetitive. This game is junt in second place because it has only 19 reviews. If this game have had more reviews it would have had a 75 and not a 98.

    I still dont understand how this is 98 rated. I mean, the game is so good but, 98? that is a lot for a skateboarding game. and i dont understand how this game has 98 and rdr2 97

    Made my childhood so freakin amazing. Nothing beats this perfect soundtrack as well. Thank you for creating such a great game.

    Но вот управление, сгорел уже на 2-ой трассе, пытаясь кататься по стенам, что бы сбивать звонки.
    Ну а вообще довольно любопытно было попробовать, что из себя представляет TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 2.    Графически: типичная графика с пс1, сохранилась плохо. Саундтрек прикольный.
    Но вот управление, сгорел уже на 2-ой трассе, пытаясь кататься по стенам, что бы сбивать звонки.

Relive the classic game that defined the extreme sports genre by cutting into a slice of a cake knows as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. The whole game revamped what was previously thought un-upgradable and maximized it ten fold. The whole concept is awesome and it appealed to both hardcore and casual gamers. Quizás sea la rotura gráfica 20 años después, que soy manco y no me hago con él. Este juego me genera un amor-odio polarizado que se resume en: si sale bien la combinación de combos y gano 20000 puntos es una maravilla.     El caso es que aun no habiendo jugando la saga como para tener una opinión formada, creo que se vanagloria demasiado a este juego, que no me parece malo en absoluto, pero no entiendo el porque de que este tan glorificado. Quizás sea un juego situado en un contexto temporal, en otra generación, y es que no me parece tan bueno como lo pintan.    … Expand

    this game is so bad that I even made a diss-track for it.
    this does not deserve to be #2 on metacritic! it even reuses a game engine, not adding much new, how can a game with not much originality be considered as the second best game of all time. this makes no sense, and I need someone to somehow explain to me why this is #2.
