    Lara comes of age, I missed the time trials and stuff at Croft Manor, but the game play and action were excellent. You really started to feel you were 100% in control. Still not perfect but at the time we had no complaints.

    Tomb Raider III is TR1 & 2 on steroids. It's bigger, badder, and tougher. The emphasis on exploration is higher this time around with a well-balanced mix of action. The heavy use of gun fights with human goons from TR2 are lighter this time around. TRIII offers the most diversity out of any Tomb Raider game. From the wider arsenal of weapons (Desert Eagle, Rocker Launcher,etc) , moreTomb Raider III is TR1 & 2 on steroids. It's bigger, badder, and tougher. TRIII offers the most diversity out of any Tomb Raider game. From the wider arsenal of weapons (Desert Eagle, Rocker Launcher,etc) , more outfits, new vehicles (quad bike,kayak, etc), new moves like sprinting and crawling, to a variety of larger scaled levels (India, Area 51, London, Tropical island, Antartica). Levels now have multiple paths. The difficulty for this game ranges between intermediate to hard. Environments are more deadly. Traps and Death linger in every corner. The new save system is based on collecting Save Cystals scattered throughout the levels. They are limited in supply and must be used wisely. The player can also save the game after completion of levels. Give this game a chance if you are up for a challenge. It's not going to satisfy everyone. TRIII's difficulty has resulted in poor reviews and mixed opinions. Don't let them fool you. Tomb Raider III is a good game that offers more of a challenge than others titles in the series.… Expand

    While still an engaging game with great presentation. This game somewhat lost what made the first two games s great. That feeling of mystery and suspense that defined this franchise.

    Tomb Raider III is the only game where I give 10 because i have played many games in my life,and unfortunately,nothing gives me the majesty that I feel when I play this masterpiece!!!!!

    I don't know why but i didn't like this one as much as i loved the first two. I like the environment and the actions. Oh, and the codes help a lot!! I can't beat this game w/out the codes. :(

    Superb. Very challenging game, great graphics, nice plot, excellent gameplay and amazing sound.
    This is the standard of games that should be made, why don't SHs make games like this anymore? A perfect (or almost) game.

    Tomb Raider 3 was the beginning of decline of Lara Croft in the "old playstation years". Unlike Tomb 1 that was revolutionary, and Tomb 2 that brought news and new extremely inspired and memorable phases (Venice, Maria Doria ship and mountains of Tibet), Tomb 3 was just "more of the same." Except for the first phase of the India forest and the first phase of the Pacific Ocean beach, theTomb Raider 3 was the beginning of decline of Lara Croft in the "old playstation years". Unlike Tomb 1 that was revolutionary, and Tomb 2 that brought news and new extremely inspired and memorable phases (Venice, Maria Doria ship and mountains of Tibet), Tomb 3 was just "more of the same." Except for the first phase of the India forest and the first phase of the Pacific Ocean beach, the rest of the places to explore are boring and uninspired. London doesn't have the same urban charisma of Venice, and we had already just seen snow in Tibet, when they just decide to bring more levels with snow in the third game. Really? To make matters worse, the game is atrociously difficult - enough to make the experience frustrating instead of funny - and the level design is extremely confusing. Nevertheless, I love the bonus level "The Lost Artifact". If this phase had been included in the original game, in place of Antartica and the Nevada desert, maybe I would have appreciated better Tomb 3. Sorry not Sorry… Expand

    This has better graphics, sound and kinda harder puzzles in my opinion than the first too games... It has more glitches too. I feel like this is a little better than the first game, but I think Tomb Raider 2 is a better game overall... It is a good game, and is fun to be played... just try it. =p

    Tomb Raider III is just like its two predecessors a great action adventure game. Gameplay is great and challenging, the level design is very beautiful and the puzzles are fun. Great game from the early games of the adventure genre!

    Even today Tomb Raider III is the best istallment of the whole series. I like the restart of the series, but nothing beats pixel Lara on the first PlayStation. Fresh gameplay and controls - graphics surely are outdated. Overall rating: 8.6.

    Injouable à la manette. D’une difficulté indécente, jeu punitif qui oblige à mourir pour voir les pièges. Les contrôles sont profondément mal faits, le stick analogique très imprécis.

    Tomb Raider III may essentially be more of the same apart from a few new bells and whistles, but with gameplay as engrossing as this, perhaps that's no bad thing. It still walks all over young pretenders like ODT.
