AldonStudiosB.Jan 4, 2004Is it just me...or is there no way to die in this game? Great graphics, amazing gameplay...you can race through this one in about an hour, although I haven't heard that two games are included...when I bought it I only got the sequel. Definitely pick this one up, but grab it if you see it 'cause they're hard to come by.

Mar 6, 2014this game is almost perfect, only problem is the game is criminally short even for ps standerts. but the game had good level design, cool physics, and overall a very fun game. even after you beat it, you could play as strider hein, giving you a different way to play through the game.

Nov 14, 2021Strider 2 for the PS1 is an arcade perfect port. It also includes the original Strider. After completing both games, you unlock an extra playable character and bonus level. This is a nice dual-pack for those that like fast and flashy arcade action. A gem. I would grade it with an 8.3 out of 10.

Jan 12, 2022Veery short game. I finished it in one sitting. Game have a really quick gameplay and the feeling of speed is something very unique. Strider is so short that it is really no hustle to just pick it up and finish.

CNET GamecenterA solid retro title -- it's over quickly, and the graphics are rough, but the gameplay triumphs.

CheckOutUnfortunately, actually playing "Strider 2" also drove me to tears, but not the joyous tears of teenage nostalgia, oh no: the bitter tears of disappointment. And boredom.

Game FanAll the bosses in "Strider 2" look awesome, and hopefully, will inspire younger players to realize what a real side-scrolling action game should be like.
