    I don't know what the hell that guy is smoking, but honestly it is a bit hard 2 navigate. But don't let that deter you. It still is well worthy of a purchase. Once you spend a few hours learning how 2 get stuff running it becomes just as addicting as many great RPGs such as Diablo 2 and the FF series.

    You can make fairly decent games on this thing; but, just a fair warning for those who haven't played it, it is so limited.

    This game is great for anyone smart enough to use it. If you say it sucks, you probably don't have the brains to figure it out.

    I've sunk more hours into this one than I care to admit. Though less powerful than most computer-based tools, it's a snap to get into. Anyone who has faced the daunting challenge of creating a game from the ground up can certainly appreciate the ease of game creation (however limited) presented by Agetec here.

    Easy tool, good graphics (enough for the PS engine and compared to other RPGs) great music! Better than some other RPGs... Fun to play! specially if you figured out how to make good use of all tools. What else would someone need? You can even make you graphics if you buy a mouse, I believe... but never tried it!

    They get one point for that gobi adventure thing... this game sucks more than MM reviews(supersmash bro.s review cube)

    RPG Maker en PS1 no lo recomiendo para hacer juegos en serio, solo para probar y por curiosidad, ya que carece de muchísimas herramientas y los torpes controles con el mando hacen la creación de mapas muy difícil. Ademas de solo estar en ingles y japones y no en otros idiomas, la única manera para crear sprites personalizables es en un disco aparte llamado Anime Maker. (mas considerando que es posiblemente el juego mas liviano de la consola, con un tamaño de menos de 20 MB). Imagínense tener que comprarlo por separado solo para poder crear sprites!!! Ademas la calidad de los graficos es bastante baja, al nivel de la SNES, con sprites y escenarios muy simples en diseño, lo mismo con los combates. Incluso en aquella época los RPG Maker eran mejores (enserio, no puedo creer que haya salido en el 2000 y que este tan desactualizado con programas como RPG Maker 95 siendo mil veces superior en todos los sentidos y mas comodo de usar), ya ni hablar de los de ahora, por lo que no hay ninguna razón para comprar este "juego", a menos que no tengas PC (cosa que me extrañaría si estas leyendo esta reseña), que tengas un PC malisimo, o quieras crear tu propio RPG en un PSP (esta ultima es la mas entendible). Por ultimo, esta tan mal optimizado que tarda mucho en cargar una opción o juego y ocupa muchos bloques en una Memory Card solo con un proyecto, pudiendo ocupar de 3 bloques hasta la memoria entera! Bastante lamentable esta herramienta, muy complicado sacarle todo el jugo con los malos controles, falta de tutorial y falta de las funciones mas básicas, incluso para la época. Eso es lo que pasa cuando sacan una herramienta planteada para un PC y en consolas y a toda prisa.… Expand
