Controls are as sharp as ever, and the opponent A.I. is tight.
-
This PSX game is a complete mess from excessively square graphics to the point of almost block-head-looking-players. Plus commentating that seems 10 to 15 seconds slow.
-
Playing alone, or against the loud-mouth you loathe, there's plenty to enjoy in this 2002 version of NBA Live. Don't blame me for the numb fingers.
-
Its a fast and fun (and accurate) basketball game with more additions and improvements than ever before. Its also the best basetball game on the PS One.
-
Official U.S. Playstation MagazineIts actually better than its pretty PS2 twin. [Feb 2002, p.116]
-
When it comes to delivering consistent and playable virtual simulations of what goes on in NBA courts across the nation, "Live 2002" for PSOne is 'The One' (sorry Jet Li!).
