I remember a time when there were no boxing games whatsoever on PlayStation, and a game like this could have gotten away with its mediocrecy and sell well on Tyson's name alone.

A comatose career mode, weak multiplayer, and lack of flair don't bespeak great longevity. But there are some boxers for masochists to unlock.

The biggest problem area in Mike Tyson Boxing is the controls. They're not completely unresponsive, but there is a definite delay that affects the overall gameplay and fluidity of the game.
