    Underrated Classic. Quite funny and really well thought out. Better than Worms etc. Highly recommended.

    State of the art! Pigs never seen to loose their sense of humor! Hard but fun. When is HOW 2 coming out?

    It starts of really easy but it gets harder and funnier as it goes along. You have to know your army ranks to be good at this.

    A great game that I play through it again every few years or so. I'm a little baffled by the negative reviews, OK it looks dated and maybe the Rik Mayall voice-over isn't for everyone but the core game play is great. The single player campaign is a lot of fun and is a decent length, and the multi-player is great too.

    This bar none is one of the best games Playstation has created. build your own missions rules, multiplayer is good too.

    Was the only reason people actually enjoyed this garbage was because it starred pigs? I hated this game, hated it. Terrible gameplay (Broken Strategy/RPG gameplay) and controls, ugly graphics (Even for the time period), Hogs of War got practically nothing right and only served to be a game I can belittle for how awful it is.     This game is a childhood game for me. A 3D-Styled Worms game with it's own twist of Hog, where inventory is not shared between the whole team, but each Hog has their own arsenal. Fantastic script and voice acting, but does get repetitive after a while. The game can randomly freeze on loading screens which is a bit upsetting.

    It's like Worms in 3D but better and more funny, with great voice acting by a.o. the late Rick Mayal. This is one of those not very known gems amongst PlayStation 1 games!

    un juego como pocos, apesar de ser un refrito del juego "WORMS" logra tener su propio estilo y aumentar su factor de diversion exponencialmente, la version en español tiene un doblaje que ya muchos juegos de esos años solo podrian tener en sus mas deseados sueños.
    el aspecto grafico es algo escasos pero cumple su cometido de proporcionar una arena de batalla con detalles como fauna,    un juego como pocos, apesar de ser un refrito del juego "WORMS" logra tener su propio estilo y aumentar su factor de diversion exponencialmente, la version en español tiene un doblaje que ya muchos juegos de esos años solo podrian tener en sus mas deseados sueños.
    el aspecto grafico es algo escasos pero cumple su cometido de proporcionar una arena de batalla con detalles como fauna, edificaciones simples y muchas trampas. notece los diferentes temas de los mismos nieve, desiertos, villas. etc.
    inclusive los puercos pueden pilotear vehiculos, las clases de los soldados da mucha variedad al gameplay. ya que cada persona es un mundo y uno puede crear su peloton a su entero placer y el sistema de progresion te obliga mantener vivos a tu puercos haciendote empatizar con ellos ya que tu los haces crecer en toda la campaña y si eres como yo de perfecionista. repetiras varias misiones para mantener a todo tu peloton vivo. ahi radica la diversion del mismo el juego, muy sutilmente te va sumerguiendo en su gameplay y sus personajes, incluso el general te alienta hacer objetivos especificos dentro de las misiones. para ganar algunas medallas extras. lagunos tips no recomiendo la clase ARMAS PESADAS ya que su arsenal como el lanza granadas es muy dificil de calcular el dispara y fallaras muchas veces. recomiendo 2 espias ya que se pueden ocultar, robar armas alos enemigos y ocultarse. 2 cirujanos estos seran esenciales ala hora de mantener a tu equipo en una pieza son limitados es arsenal, trata de sacar provecho de sus granadas y disparos tiples contra estructuras las granadas medicas son perfectas para auto curarse y curar a un grupo de puercos en un solo turno y un savoteador este tiene minas que puedes usar 2 en un turno puedes usar una y un disparo o un TNT haciendo daño a 2 enemigos diferentes o puedes poner una mina en un lado del enemigo y del otro lado darle con la escopeta empujandolo hacia la mina y dañandolo al maximo.

    muy importante las clases cirujano,saboteador,espia son las especialisaciones mas altas si promueves a cualquier puerco despues de estos rangos se combierten en comandos perdiendo su especialidad, solo recomiendo subir a comandos a un espia y al saboteador ya que al hacerlo con un medico pierdes toda habilidad de mantener a tu equipo sano y esto puede ser tu perdicion en misiones muy largas asu ves estos 2 comandos los puedes acender a HEROES.
    pero para esto tendrias que haber ganado la mayor cantidad de medallas posibles. la mision 23 es un verdadero RETO para mantener vivos a tus cerdos recomiendo usar a las 2 heroes y un comando y nadamas empezar la mision usar el propulsor y entrar alas torretas y bases cercanas para que los enemigos desperdicien algunos turnos tratando de sacarte de estas y usando el "ataque aereo" de tus heroes para hacer el mayor daño posible a la mayoria de los enemigos. con suerte solo perderas 2 puercos
    y el juego te los dejara vivos si no mueren mas. si pierdes 3 puecos olvidate de uno para siempre.
    yo he logrado pasar esta mision con un puerco muerto y lo recupere al pasar la mision.

    truco para la mision final. nadamas empezar solo habra un puerco enemigo en el campo dentro de una torreta manda a 2 puercos con una operacion especial y trata de caer el la trampilla donde sale de la torreta. provocaras que el pueco se salga y si te posicionaste bien el puerco caera fuera de la torreta mete a uno de tus puercos con en la torreta para evitar que se meta otra vez y acaba con el puerco ala brevedad incluso si tienes que hacer fuego amigo, si lo haces a tiempo ganaras la mision sin darle oportunidad a los puercos de todos los demas ejercitos aparecer en el campo. ganando la mision final con una sola muerte.    … Expand

    Mejor juego que Worms en mi opinión. Ya que cada cerdo tiene su propia personalidad.

    At the time this got good reviews. 62 is way to low for this forgotten masterpiece of a game. There is something special about this game, aided with the Rik Mayall voice acting. One of the PS1 greats. The single player is excellent and a great campaign that gets tough from a point. This is a 10/10 no question.

    Such a good game, especially back in the day might not look so good no but great party game in the house with friends and the campaign was very challenging.

    Not an easy game by any means. I was able to finish it only few years back as an adult. But i had a blast playing it.

    Although Hogs is far from state-of-the-art, it's definitely fun and worth a look if you want something different and smart.
