Jul 2, 2017Hands down the best game I've played on vita this year ! If you're a fan of trails in the sky /cold steel do yourself a favor and give this one a try !

Jul 17, 2017The game is pretty repetitive, but surprisingly fun. After a couple of dungeons it's easy to get hooked. Really decent Vita RPG, but pretty obviously uses recycled materials and engine from previous Falcom games. If you're looking for something new to play, by all means get it. It's probably not going to blow your mind, but will definitely provide many hours of entertainment. 7/10

Dec 19, 2017This is a fantastic game, and there's no debating that. However, Falcom failed on all levels to try and give the game any identity of it own, and it feels more Trails of Cold Steel 2.5 rather than it's own thing. That said, if you like the Trails of Cold Steel series, this is worth getting.

Aug 31, 2023The first half of Tokyo Xenadu is flawless, but after the midpoint, there are fewer redeeming qualities. Combat is repetitive and dungeons are frustrating. The story is lackluster and the companions are one-dimensional.

Nov 30, 2017The action in Tokyo Xanadu may be a little spread out for my tastes, but when it’s on, it’s pretty fun.

Aug 23, 2017Tokyo Xanadu is a surprisingly generic Persona wannabe from a developer that I know can do far, far better.

Aug 2, 2017Tokyo Xanadu is a good example of a developer pulling together the best parts of beloved franchises but not quite following through completely. I'd wager that Falcom pulled back a bit on the Persona-inspired mechanics to avoid a 100-hour saga that already struggles with a paper-thin story. As a result, we're left with a thoroughly enjoyable and engaging battle system wrapped in an uninspired package with little originality. To put it plainly, Tokyo Xanadu is a painfully average experience that still manages to be worth your time.
