    An SNES classic made more playable than ever. The addition of a new save function alleviates much of the frustration this game caused back on the SNES. It's still a challenging game, but now you don't have to worry about losing everything when you run out of lives or have to leave the game in the middle of playing. Provided you load that save that is.

    The movie does a great job of capturing the feel of the movie (A New Hope). Level and enemy design are pulled right from it as it pretty faithfully follows the film's plot. Obviously they had to take a bit from the surrounding lore to expand the number of enemies you'll face, but they fit right into the universe.

    Old-school platforming has rarely been better. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the controls had been improved upon for this release. The graphics and sound transfer over nicely, and have even been touched up a bit to better fit the new hardware. The vehicle levels do a nice job of breaking up the standard action.

    If you are looking to play as some of your favorite heroes from a galaxy far, far away this is one of your best choices. Even after all of these years the game still proves to be a huge treat for Star Wars fans. Even better is that the new save system makes it easier for fans to enjoy. It's no longer such a pain to fight through.

    It's still among the best Star Wars game out there, and I would be thrilled if it's sequels get the same treatment. The cross-save function is also much appreciated. I love being able to take this gem with me wherever I go. If you haven't played this game now is the time. There's no better way to experience it.    … Expand

    Excelente port de un gran juego de SNES, la versión de PS Vita es sólida, se juega bien, se controla perfecto, 0 reducción de framerate. Aunque molesta que la reproducción del juego consuma mucha pantalla.
    El juego es una aventura/shooter en 2D con gráficos en 16 bits que en SNES fue un proyecto ambicioso donde se buscó brindar un juego de la saga completa en un cartucho. En cuanto a la jugabilidad tiene esa dificultad propia de la vieja escuela, donde controlas a Luke, Han o Chewbacca y te desplazas en niveles con cientos de enemigos que se respawnean constantemente.
    Es divertido, lo recomiendo si quieres agregar juegos a tu Vita y si te gusta la saga, uno de los beneficios que tienes es el sistema Cross-Buy que significa que una vez que compres este juego para Vita o PS4 también lo recibes para la otra plataforma.

    Lo bueno: buen desafío.

    It is not the best version and it could have been fit better on PS Vita, but we still loved how the game holds up. Fans of old-school action games will enjoy this one.

    Super Star Wars is a fun game that is meant only for fans of the series -- anyone unfamiliar or who dislikes it won't be satisfied. Despite its outdated graphics and puzzling difficulty, players will find a solid experience as they step into a galaxy far, far away.
