    Very hard tactical gameplay. You always be out numbered, out geared but not outwitted. You usually start in level 1 on most dungeon, however some dungeon allow you to bring your own equipment to help you.     You usually start in level 1 on most dungeon, however some dungeon allow you to bring your own equipment to help you. However if you die, you lose all your item and making dying very punishing, but also always giving you a choice to keep going or escape from the dungeon

    A lot of end game dungeon dont allow you to bring item so you need to rely on RNG equipment drop to keep up with the enemy

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is wonderful in every way. Hours of content within the main story; prob at least 30 hours to beat. Very useful , and helpful ways to upgrade equipment. Very good inventory management system. Nice graphics. I would love to have more shiren the wanderer games to the us. If you like rogulikes, you will love this game. It is def one of the best rogulikes i have ever played. It's simple yet full of complicated things you can use/must use to win. warning this game is not easy and takes time and patience. if you have the patience and time check this game out.… Expand

    Beautifully refined is what Shiren 5 is. Well-balanced, well-made, wrapped up in an attractively quaint package. All the years of making the Mystery Dungeon series into the best of what it can be shows in this game.

    Great game with beautiful graphics and great music. I recommend this game everyone who likes classic retro games. Brings the memories of 16 bit era !!!!!! :)

    A fun and entertaining roguelike with a few troublesome stumbles along the way. Fans of 16-bit style adventures will certainly enjoy its audio and visual style, and a number of post-game dungeons and challenges will keep players entertained for a long time beyond the game's initial running time.

    You'll get the most out of it, of course, if you're the type who likes tough dungeon crawlers with a retro feel, but even if you're only mildly interested in the genre, this game has enough to get you hooked.
