Oct 23, 2014Feels like some old-school fencing game, though that's as far as it goes. It was fun at the start, though it gets tiresome easily due to the repetitiveness of the game. You only need to win once and have the arrow pointing in your direction, then just take a run for it every time, without the need to stab your enemy to death. Quite a challenge though, and I love the neck cranks. :P

Jan 27, 2020A very short, fun game for PS Vita. Though if it took 15 minutes longer or if I played it on a different platform, probably wouldn't worth it. The balance is well set.
Not the best game but there is also no negative comment to add.

Nov 6, 2014Nidhogg is a wild and frantic fighting games that takes gameplay to the extreme. Its ultra-retro graphics provide a unique look that stands out in a crowd. The game shines as a local multiplayer fighter but drops dead when it comes to the single player campaign.

Oct 31, 2014It's just too bad that the challenge will be so short unless you can find someone else to play with. Get that, and I imagine you could have matches that take forever, but in the best possible sense of that phrase. Even without it, however, Nidhogg still has more than its fair share of charms, and it's the kind of thing worth picking up if you're in the mood for something unlike anything else out there.
