This game is like some lost licensed GBA 2D platformer. It is wonky, buggy (including having to start the level over) and has a terrible framerate but still is a lot of fun. Nothing new here but it does manage to have a certain amount of charm including cutsey cut scenes and pretty good art. Not hard at all as it seems to be aiming at a kid market that I am not sure exists on the Vita. This game is like some lost licensed GBA 2D platformer. I would never recommend this over the Raymond 2D games on Vita except maybe for a kid where Raymond can get very difficult. Good value as there is a good amount of content for the $7. Expand

Bought because of positive user score, and because I omitted to look at how many reviews/ratings there were. I found it clunky and didn't enjoy it one bit.

Flyhunter Origins could have been a decent way for young players to spend an afternoon. The stages may not be expertly designed, and the enemies are way too easy, but the game is short enough to feel fulfilling without dragging on and the mechanics are solid enough.

What could have been a solid action game is marred by a number of technical problems and repetitive level designs. Young gamers may enjoy the memorable characters, but everybody else will find the inconsistent frame rate too frustrating to enjoy. Perhaps Flyhunter Origins should have stayed on iOS.

This game is perfect for that rainy Sunday afternoon where you know you can download this and let your kids while away a few hours without having to worry about them too much.
