    In short, DD2 does a real good job at giving the player a fair "arcade-like" hack'n slash game, but misses the chance of trying to innovate a bit to offer an even better experience than DD1.

    Everything in this new chapter feels like a copy/paste of the first title, aside from the fact that the player can now chose from 3 different characters, each with their own unique skills, moves,    In short, DD2 does a real good job at giving the player a fair "arcade-like" hack'n slash game, but misses the chance of trying to innovate a bit to offer an even better experience than DD1.

    Everything in this new chapter feels like a copy/paste of the first title, aside from the fact that the player can now chose from 3 different characters, each with their own unique skills, moves, weapons, armors and so on.

    Even if the game really feels like a mobile one, that doesn't take away the plain fun you will get out of it. With 5 worlds each divided into sub-levels filled with various creatures and hidden loot, the game is just plain fun to play and you will find it difficult to put down your controller.

    The game is Cross-buy on PS4/PS Vita, making things even more interesting since you can get unique trophy sets for each platform. The only drawback is that Cross-save isn't supported, therefore you can't start your game on PS4 and continue it on the Vita on the go.

    Sure, Devious Dungeon 2 isn't stellar in any ways, but the addictive gameplay will have you playing for hours wanting to dive deeper and deeper into it. And in our honest opinion, for a price this cheap, DD2 definitely deserves a shot!    … Expand

    Devious Dungeon 2 isn’t a bad game. It suffers from a lack of originality, like its predecessor, but if you want a competently-made roguelike platformer, it does the trick.
