Improves over the first game in every way. Great voicework, visuals, tight music, etc. There's less party members but the S & M system and the writing don't make you miss them.

Characters are pretty solid, but some of the fun when motivating (as it's not about punishment) the girls has lost some of it's bite. Especially compared to the Japanese version. The system in which you can change how the girls address you and all voices in general is just gone. Other then that, the story is still okay, but it certainly feels like something is missing. Gameplay is the same as the first game minus some slight improvements. The soundtrack is more or less similarly forgettable. Development and the story is alright, but when weighed against everything else, I couldn't see myself recommending this to anybody who wants a complete game. Sorry NISA. Expand

We´ve got quite the interesting rpg right here.
The gameplay is rather unique and breaks the monotony of many similar games while leveling up, I found it rather addicting.
As for the mini games to unlock and improve abilities, they may not be for everyone but it´s one of the series main characteristics. (Plus it no longer has the annoying fog that the first one suffered of) The artwork

The artwork is beautiful, `nuff said.

TL;DR: Addictive gameplay, well made pervy minigames. Not to be played in public.

Wow! This was fun! Defs an upgrade in art from the first game! {which I played in like 2014? I dont actually know... its been a few years. possibly even 8? Thats 2022 - 2014. Its just math.} But man! these girls be BUSSIN! {I dunno know what that means, but a guy at my work said that about my chicken fried rice once, and it sounds right right to use it here? I dunno... also it was not "bussin" chicken fried rice. Ill have you know, I only swallowed one bite. I threw the rest away, cuz it wasnt very 'bussin'} ANYWAYS! The RPG elements were great! The gameplay and story are very solid! Perhaps an improvement on Criminal Girls 1? But like I said its been like 8 years {or so}. some of the bosses were kinda awful. I wish they put more work into them besides just doing massive debuffs, but hey, Im just a guy. But if I worked as a game dev, Im sure this game woulda been a 10/10, cuz im pretty good ya know? Operation Ball was the best move imo. Not cuz of damage, I just liked how it sounded. so much so that I made a Twitch redeem out of it!! {Id plug my twitch here, but that feels irrelevant, since this is a review, and not a place to put myself out there. I wanna earn my stripes the right way! Not through Metacritic. Im sure you understand. BUT if you wanna check me out, find me! If you do, Ill give you a hi five through my webcam cuz thats the most I can afford right now, since I only work like 5 hours a week.} Overall, This is a gem on the Vita! Find it, buy it at any cost {unless you work like 5 hours a week like me, then borrow it from a friend like I did.} and play it! You wont regret it! 8/10, 2nd best Vita game ive played thus far! {Check out my twitch channel cuz Ill eventually play my favorite Vita game on there! I wont say the name of it here since my chat might see and I want it to be a surprise. But ill totally play it someday!} Expand

I am frustrated with Criminal Girls 2, because on one hand it's a very solid dungeon crawler that most of the time doesn't outstay its welcome. It has the right pacing, the battle system has some neat little quirks to it, and yet the downside is that it becomes grindy in more ways than needed. While I didn't hate my time with Criminal Girls 2, I feel like it needed a much clearer direction to make the gameplay and story components more cohesive, and that's where it fails. If you liked the first game, this review likely won't sway you, but for those who are curious, just be prepared for a lot of scrubby brushes and goo flinging awkwardness.

It's difficult for me to recommend Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors for two reasons. One: as far as RPGs go, there are far more robust RPGs available that offer more satisfying questing experiences. Two: with regard to "sexytime" games, there are plenty of dedicated eroge (translated in English to boot) out there to more deeply fulfill any extreme fetish desires you may have. That being said, this sleazy game certainly had a visceral effect on me and actually had me contemplating the contradictory aspects of myself. However, this experience taught me that my inner monster decidedly prefers the taste of Cannibal Corpse to Criminal Girls.

It would be one thing if, like Gal*Gun or Monster Monpiece, the titillation was cover for a game that was secretly also a lot of fun. Instead, what you have here is titillation to cover up the fact the game isn’t even all that enjoyable, which just makes it kind of sad.
