I don't know if it's because of the trophies or what but this games is really addictive right now. The controls with the analog stick exceeded my expectations too.

Pretty fun game, my only issue is the visuals don't look as crisp as I would expect from a native PS Vita port. Apart from that, this is a great free game.

You're limited on balls, you can reconstruct some if you catch pieces during playtime. But you can't really get those if you run out of balls. You can buy balls in numbers, or essentially buy the game at $8 (unlimited balls). If

If you're good at these games, you can totally get all the trophies and beat the entire game without buying anything. 24 hour playtime trophy aside, the trophies are relatively doable without much effort if you're into trophies.

I LOVE this game! I'm a big fan of "brick breakers", going back to playing Breakout, on the Atari 2600, as a kid. This game gets it right on so many levels. First, and foremost, they have nailed the controls. Without proper control the game would not be fun. I am writing this review in 2022. I wish I had gotten around to it earlier, but I didn't really use Metacritic then. That being said, I would ABSOLUTELY buy a new version of this, on the Switch or PS4/PS5/ Please, Nurium Games/Beatshapers, make this a reality! Until then I will continue to play this on my Vita and PSTV. Expand

Like a posh restaurant’s reimagining of a classic dish, BreakQuest: Extra Evolution serves up an inventive experience fashioned from familiar ingredients. It’s still a block breaker beneath the batter, but it tastes like nothing else amid psychedelic parallelograms and rainbows in outer-space.
