Apr 2, 2022Master Duel is my first experience for Yu Gi Oh and I genuinely enjoy it. The game helps make sense of things and is accesible to people who not only play Yu Gi Oh consistently, but for people who wish to get into it themselves.

Dec 10, 2022For a yugioh sim this is top tier. Gives enough currency to make like 4-5 decks from the get go and that's enough imo. My only issues with this game are with Yugioh in general.

Feb 9, 2022Good simulator of the actual card game, you're given quite a lot of gems easily so can build the deck you want, the problem is that the actual card game isn't very good, games are over in a turn or two and each turn takes 5 minutes

Apr 4, 2022Don't play this game if you're not willing to copy the same meta decks everyone else is playing.
Once you're at Gold V you won't win a single duel without any meta FTK (first turn kill) deck.
It's a shame, Yugioh used to be the best Card game out there.
Additionally it's heavily suffering from microtransactions. -
Feb 7, 2022No skill. Just pay to win. Bad game. No skill. Just pay to win. Bad game. No skill. Just pay to win. Bad game.

Feb 8, 2022Try hards destroy me every game and I can't even get a turn in before the game is over.

PLAYMar 7, 2022A solid basis for digitising the card game across platforms, presentation aside. You’ll need to love the card game though, or you’ll be left in the dust. [Issue#12, p.94]

Feb 9, 2022If I could grade Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duels in Magic Terms, I’d give it a Sideboard B. If you love Yu-Gi-Oh, this is probably the pinnacle of the game’s experience, with modern flourishes and easy access to a huge repository of cards. However, if you’re not a hardcore fan and just fancy dipping your toes in the water, this game is probably not for you — by all means give it a chance, but don’t be surprised if you find its complexities impossible to overcome.

Jan 28, 2022Master Duel has all that it takes for a Yu-Gi-Oh! video game to work: let's hope Konami is going to support this one for a very long time.
