    What a grind going for the trophies! (Do not recommend) That’s not what this rating is about though. This is the best wrestling game since the PS2 wrestling games. This one made wrestling feel fun again instead of the trying-to-be super realistic games the last decade. Only negatives I have are key Showcase matches are missing and the ladder match design in this game is awful. Haven’t beenWhat a grind going for the trophies!     Create a wrestler has some good move customisation and decent enough visual customisation, the career mode is alright and the Rey Mysterio campaign is passable.

    The MyFaction is a really REALLY mixed bag with a lot of the daily challenges mislabelled or bugged and with certain match types being very poorly tested (such as 6 man tornado tag) as the AI will just focus on one wrestler    Create a wrestler has some good move customisation and decent enough visual customisation, the career mode is alright and the Rey Mysterio campaign is passable.

    The MyFaction is a really REALLY mixed bag with a lot of the daily challenges mislabelled or bugged and with certain match types being very poorly tested (such as 6 man tornado tag) as the AI will just focus on one wrestler completely, sometimes deliberately losing the match by refusing to break up pins. Due to the match actions and being unable to control both of your wrestlers this often means your teammate loses the match for you by pinning an AI while you are chain stunned/countered by the other 3 causing you to win the match but fail the objectives with no player agency which is idiotic, just allow the player to switch wrestlers or remove this half baked game mode.

    The constant issues with animations locking, snapping, collisions missing/not connecting, random I-frames, being interrupted out of your own moves by yourself, the referee or collisions with environmental objects and the AI just being all over the place really mar what would otherwise be a really enjoyable game.    … Expand

    Games pretty good for what it is and the roster is expansive, with online custom characters making friend sleepovers fun. The controls are also easy to learn, but hard to master and is simple to pick up and play after the tutorial. My only problems are, the lack of custom match options and not being able to make a custom royale rumble, and myFaction is too grindy. MyGM is a fun strategyGames pretty good for what it is and the roster is expansive, with online custom characters making friend sleepovers fun. The controls are also easy to learn, but hard to master and is simple to pick up and play after the tutorial. My only problems are, the lack of custom match options and not being able to make a custom royale rumble, and myFaction is too grindy. MyGM is a fun strategy gamemode and so is MyRise with it's fun stories for both genders, though it could give you more freedom to win or lose. Also the DLC is overpriced and shouldn't be DLC. Overall, a good fighting game that shouldn't be taken too seriously… Expand

    Actually not bad, but I am incredibly casual to the WWE 2k games.

    I do like the new controls for this entry, and the non-DLC wrestler roster...
    still the game is not worth full price at all, and only worth $20-30.

    WWE 2K22 puts the WWE 2K franchise back on form with a bevy of great new features and is as powerful as an almighty Superman Punch.

    There are still many bugs and detail errors related to reality. The graphics sucks for a game today. The video game still crashes, despite the updates.

    Stunning graphics, and addicting gameplay. This is the best WWE game since WWE 12. The only play is that there's some bugs 2k has yet to patch out.

    Yes it look great, is fast and they fix many issues from previous game, menu is easy. But the disappointment is in character customization. Without body parts or body morph 75% of clothing items look stretched out, laughable and hideous. They need to bring that back because creating a character is a waisted of time so we all stuck with outdated roster from previous game ...     Good graphics good gameplay but the only problem i have is gm mode i thought it was going to be good but after playing it for 2 hours i got bored very quickly

    2K is the worst company ever!!! This game you can't play because of servers going down. So we have to wait over a month for more people after 2 years. Each game has had people like Bruno Sammartino, Ricky Steamboat, Bam Bam Bigelow, Greg Valentine, Lex Luger and more. Than we are missing others like Paige, The Bellas, Zelina Vega, Kurt Angle, Lita, Brutus Beefcake, Sycho Sid, Dusty Rhodes,2K is the worst company ever!!! This game you can't play because of servers going down. So we have to wait over a month for more people after 2 years.     The game is a step up from previous iterations, but the AI is a buggy mess and this year's has game breaking (or at least match breaking) bugs.
    This is especially troublesome when you're using limited contracts or have been playing an hour-long match and suddenly find out your character can move but not interact with the environment or ring.

    The animations are much better, though these too are still buggy as of writing.
    At $70 on PS5 the game just simply isn't worth the price of admission. Wait for a deep discount or a patch that fixes all of the remaining bugs.
    Support for the Myfaction mode is already waning just a couple of months into the life of the game, so be wary.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. WWE 2K22 is a huge update from the previous games. The gameplay is fun and it is capable of making WWE former fans to come back to the wrestling industry.
    The game begins a journey where 2K can do awesome things.
    However... as I said this game can be the beginning of something, and as every first time there are a lot of things to improve.
    MyRise: MyRise is imo a huge update from the last games, however the stories are kind of random and there is no connection between them. It would be better if 2K can somehow create a continuous narative where you can actually feel like you are living the show and not random stories. I felt that the Tag Team Championships were missing and there is kind of sad that whenever you change brands the championships you had just reset to the previous champion (there is no rng or algorithm to generate a new champion). I miss the finisher creator from some old games. MyRise can improve a lot and I hope 2K keeps going for it.
    MyGM and Universe could be also awesome modes but both of them end up being a bit boring.
    The loadings are to big to be true in PS5, it looks like you are playing in PS3. The graphics are not the best as well, but they are OK.
    If you like WWE you might look up for WWE2K22 as a game (the DLCs are not worth it tho).    … Expand

    2K should have just waited another year to release this, but I guess WWE would have stripped the license from them. Almost impossible to play on the hardest difficulty in specialty matches because the mechanics are so busted.

    Bought this game on launch knowing it would need a few weeks to polish it up but nearly 2 months later my universe mode is still full of bugs the loading time on ps5 is a shambles gm mode is pointless without tag titles only thing i will say good about it is the graphics are the best ive ever seen

    Gameplay is atrocious. The mysterio showcase is unimaginative with repetitive actions and a selection of matches that 90% of them are not even THE highlights of rey mysterios career

    Gm mode is a joke which is really surprising considering the fact that this was the moat requested feature in the game
    A complete disappointment.

    A 6.5/10 game in my books. Lots of potential in this game, but it isn't there yet. 2K23 can be great if they build off what they have here

    Pros: - Gameplay is fun and a major improvement from the last game. - MyGM mode has a lot of potential. Make it so that there isn't a time limit. Add more features in the next games and this mode will be amazing. - Showcase mode was very fun and    A 6.5/10 game in my books. Lots of potential in this game, but it isn't there yet. 2K23 can be great if they build off what they have here

    Pros:

    - MyRise is horrible. We need more cutscenes. More relationship building. Free-roam. This mode was fun for the first 30 minutes but it went downhill once you get drafted to Raw/Smackdown/NXT.
    - Getting new characters is a chore. I finished the showcase mode and was only able to unlock 1 character from the 1.5-2 hours of gameplay.

    I purchased WWE2k22 a few days after its release date, and the changes were felt immediately. The in-depth tutorial is a good addition as 2k added new controls for a more unique fight in every match. The commentary has long needed a drastic overhaul, and they certainly did just that. The controls feel smooth, and gameplay is rewarding. The Online servers are not as laggy as they used toI purchased WWE2k22 a few days after its release date, and the changes were felt immediately. The in-depth tutorial is a good addition as 2k added new controls for a more unique fight in every match. The commentary has long needed a drastic overhaul, and they certainly did just that. The controls feel smooth, and gameplay is rewarding. The Online servers are not as laggy as they used to be, which is a step in the right direction. The only issues I have ran in to, and ran in to quite frequently- is the crashing. For some reason, the game may crash upon simulating matches in Universe mode. There are alao frequent glitches within the creation suite, normally involving custom superstars character portrait showing as somebody else, or the custom portrait appearing on a regular superstar. Thankfully that glitch is only an issue in the menu screens, and will not appear when you start a match. Overall, its a huge, HUGE improvement on the series, but it needs a few tweaks and updates.… Expand

    Trying to get out of combos or moves are nearly impossible and even when i try to time triangle to avoid any attacks, it doesn't register, the game isn't that bad but when i am winning and all of a sudden the AI is just getting so lucky to where i can't get out of anything because buttons don't want to register, you mind as well put the controller down.

    This game is pure trash, after playing 60 hours. Filled with bugs, an absolute trash game. The game has tons of bugs and alot of crashes.

I've had to restart the game multiple times due to it freezing, there have been multiple crashes for me, hit detection is horrible, reversals are horrible if it even gives you a chance to reverse. If you try to use a weapon, it's such a task to even pick the weapon up, When you try to hit your opponent with it, the animation is extremely slow, they'll reverse it.The game is still broken.     jogo até esta com um visual bonito , porem os bugs de sempre assombram o jogo , ontem mesmo numa luta 8man um dos lutadores suspendeu no ar do nada e nunca mais acabou a luta , em outra uma escada entrou em um universo paralelo e ficou metade dentro metade fora no ar , tem muita coisa muita mesmo a se melhorar , por enquanto essa a nota , ainda os lutadores estao com nitro na perna muitojogo até esta com um visual bonito , porem os bugs de sempre assombram o jogo , ontem mesmo numa luta 8man um dos lutadores suspendeu no ar do nada e nunca mais acabou a luta , em outra uma escada entrou em um universo paralelo e ficou metade dentro metade fora no ar , tem muita coisa muita mesmo a se melhorar , por enquanto essa a nota , ainda os lutadores estao com nitro na perna muito rapidos jogo sem cadencia , por fim os menus muito lentos , melhore por favor… Expand

    This game is not just not worth the money it needs to start giving refunds the game is broken every positive review is ether paid off or are die hard fan boys wait 6 months this game will be 10 dollars in gamestop and if they don't fix the glitches it would not be worth ten dollars just don't waste your money the game is unplayable

    I love wrestling games and they managed to bring me back with this one. Better than the predecessor in all respects, but unfortunately the graphics quality is partly out of fashion and you can see the old framework very clearly. The game itself is awesome!

    Although the game is certainly better compared to the older version, the impression is spoiled by the sometimes clumsy controls. The strike aiming could use some tweaking. Pressing the right buttons is often more a matter of chance or luck than a planned strategy. The graphics have grown noticeably in beauty compared to the last game. [Issue#318]

    Efforts were made to keep 2020 as a road accident, and this time they came up with a game like it should have. With plenty of game mode and plenty of content, a fun WWE experience awaits you.

    WWE 2K22 fixes many of the serious bugs of the previous game and builds a solid foundation to build on with great gameplay and interesting game modes. Although minor, there are issues that need to be fixed, but there is a lot of fun to be had here.
