    First of all. Logan Paul is going to be in the game as DLC. That alone, I should give it a 0/10 but I guess I'll be legit.

    The game is OK. NOT worth $70 bucks on PS5 at all though. Really, not worth 60 as well. it's a 20 dollar game that has some fun gameplay but is very shallow and the gameplay is constrictive. You can't switch to who you're facing when in animation so that makes a triple threat and fatal 4 ways really lame. When you have a tag team match, you play as both people in the match and can't have fun messing with the other opponents in the match. You're stuck on your tag corner and that's that.

    I just wish the game was more free. The gameplay feels so constrictive it really messes with me. The reverse system is also lame. Just a button mash. Mash all of the face buttons and win. Why is GM limited to a certain number of weeks? It makes zero sense. The max weeks in GM you can do is 50. That is a lot but why can't I just keep going? Again, constrictive gameplay. Just give us the WWE game we've all wanted since the 90's. Cmon. Also, trying to use weapons is SO slow. I love grabbing weapons and just beating the heck out of people in WWE gamges. Very lame and slow in this years game.

    I would rather just go back to Smackdown vs Raw on my PC emulator.

    In NO WAY should you pay full price for this game.    … Expand

    The graphics in this years installment are phenomenal and “MyRise” is actually very enjoyable with lots of depth and entertaining storylines. However, that’s about where the “great” stops. The long awaited return of “MyGM” is tampered by its overall lack of depth and replay value and the fan favorite Universe Mode    WWE2K22 is head and shoulders above 2K20, but that isn’t really saying much…
    The graphics in this years installment are phenomenal and “MyRise” is actually very enjoyable with lots of depth and entertaining storylines. However, that’s about where the “great” stops. The long awaited return of “MyGM” is tampered by its overall lack of depth and replay value and the fan favorite Universe Mode saw only the addition of a solo superstar feature which completely falls flat on its face. Showcase mode, featuring the Legendary Rey Mysterio is a huge letdown; many of his most notable and career defining matches are missing, replaced my mundane singles matches from random episodes of Raw featuring opponents like Gran Metalik and Samoa Joe. Not only is it a let down but the new controls for this years installment make the mode a total chore to play as it relies far too heavily on the flashy new combos. Returning from 2K20 are lots of bugs, crashes and glitches that make even the simplest tasks like editing an entrance or creating a superstar a total headache. Combine these issues with the loss of many important Creation Suite features, no new match types and the complete stripping of the legends roster, this game is good but very far from great. If you’ve got the spare change, pick up the game and enjoy it for what it is, a base, a building block for future installments…but don’t expect to be playing the greatest wrestling game ever.    … Expand

    Looking at the big picture, WWE 2K22 is a much-needed improvement over the disastrous WWE 2K20. The revamped control scheme makes this entry a lot more inviting to newcomers, and the Showcase mode is a great nostalgia trip for fans of the sport. The returning MyGM mode has surprisingly deep simulation gameplay, but it caters to a very niche audience. However, underwhelming visual presentation and other glitches remain an issue with the latest entry – but it has a solid enough foundation for what’s to come in the future.    … Expand

    The game is definitely an improvement from the last few games. It’s a lot more fluid and this is head and shoulders way better looking than any wwe game to date. My only issue with the game is the reverse system. It can be triangle square or X and the game doesn’t tell u when it’s which. Other than that the game is great. Also beware multi man matches bec they never end

    Certainly has some issues and is glitchy at times and new controls take a little bit of time to get used to, but overall, it's a pretty big step up from the disaster that was WWE 2K20.

    Gameplay is fun, new controls are much better and people moaning about playing showcase to unlock things are a bit weird, after tutorial I played showcase to unlock things - it took me 2 hours and if I'm honest helped me learn the new controls more in a "safer environment " Online has connectivity issues, haven't come across any glitches    To be fair this has so far exceeded my expectations.

    The gameplay in this game is more fluid and fun than the previous game. When it comes to frame rate, I am not some nerd that looks at numbers for frames. All I know is that the frame rate runs at an acceptable rate when 8 wrestlers are in 1 ring. An improvement from the awful frame rate when 8 wrestlers were in 1 ring from previous games, which is expected from a PS5 console. WrestlersThe gameplay in this game is more fluid and fun than the previous game. When it comes to frame rate, I am not some nerd that looks at numbers for frames. An improvement from the awful frame rate when 8 wrestlers were in 1 ring from previous games, which is expected from a PS5 console. Wrestlers look more accurate than the disaster that is 2K20. I am impressed that the ThunderDome virtual fans actually move during gameplay, except for online. Tons of customization options. Other than that, the game is garbage. The greedy developers didn't even add a proper story mode, and they are charging $10 more than usual. The lip syncing is beyond horrible. The developers were too cheap and lazy to make more proper cutscenes, so they just relied on tweets for story.

    The overall ratings are incredibly stupid and some don't make any sense. For goodness sake, why is the WWE so obsessed with Roman Reigns? Enough already. It's a joke that Roman's rating is 3 points higher than legends like Steve Austin and John Cena, two wrestlers that had a much bigger impact on WWE than him. It's an even bigger joke that Becky Lynch has a higher rating than a legend that changed wrestling forever known as Hulk Hogan. Who came up with these garbage feminist ratings? When I created a roofless arena on daytime, the stadium doesn't even light up and it remains dark. A huge roster and you can't even have a 50 men Royal Rumble match in a fake video game, despite there being one in real life. The referee doesn't count consistently when I am outside the ring. The physics are laughable, especially the hair physics. Only 12 matches in Showcase, and they didn't even add Rey Mysterio's most iconic matches. Like why did they even add Gran Metalik for the showcase? I don't even know who that is, and it doesn't help that he looks like an off-brand Rey Mysterio.

    The online multiplayer is trash. Rey Mysterio has a cringeworthy face on the original cover of this game. This made me remove the cover paper off the game case and rip it into pieces. The greedy developers want me to pay $100 for a decent cover of Rey Mysterio. I only recommend you buy this game until it is like $20 or $15. This is not worth the outrageous price of $70.    … Expand

    Great game, all new engin. Great graphics and moves. A must have ! Missing a few wrestlers like the dragon stemboat, coco beware, but extensions coming soon I hope. Really impressed

There's the phenomenal 2K showcase based on the legendary career of Lucha Legend Rey Mysterio and there's MyRise where you make your own superstar and take and take them to the top of the mountain. MyRise offers both male and female stories. Then the amazingWWE 2K22 is simply stunning in visuals and fun in gameplay. You can have so much fun playing exhibition with friends or even alone. MyRise offers both male and female stories. Then the amazing return of GM Mode now re-named as "MyGM". Before launch I was sceptical of the mode but I was blown away when I played it. There's so many neat little mechanics and features. Then you have the newly introduced "MyFaction" mode where it's basically from NBA but it's a welcome addition. The online modes are good and cross-platform community creations is a very welcome feature. Universe mode has seen some welcome improvements and superstar mode will help lots of people who like focusing on one star's career.
    Overall WWE 2K22 is a phenomenal comeback for the series and a 10/10.    … Expand

    I really enjoyed the game when I was able to play it. Huge improvement over the last entry in the series. I however am most of the time stuck at the title screen with a known bug that does not allow Xbox elite controllers and others to properly connect to the game.

    This is such a fresh breath of air after what we got from 2k20. The gameplay is amazing and the graphics on are amazing too. Love the camera angles they use for entrances. GM mode is a nice addition but limited. Hopefully we will see it expand with future iterations. Good stuff overall. A step in the right direction!

At first I thought I wouldn’t like the new combo style system, but the flow of matches and performing attacks and grapples has never felt better. The new modes such as my GM they need to be fleshed out and have more options available, it’s definitely a great foundation to build off of.

    In terms of my game crashing or experiencing any game breaking glitches or bugs, I haven’t noticed any that have completely crashed my game or glitched anything out of the ordinary.

    WWE 2K22 definitely hits different, but it also looks different. I think you would enjoy this, do yourselves a favour and pick it up.    … Expand

    Best gameplay since Here Comes the Pain. Combos add a nice mix to moves and MyRise was icing on the cake for. Beautiful graphics and presentation, a must buy for wrestling fans

Huge credit to Visual Concepts for getting it perfect after much disappointment with WWE2K20. TrustWWE2K22 is the best wrestling game ever made in my opinion. Gameplay is much better, commentary has been improved, menus are sleek, and the graphics look incredible considering there's very little difference between PS4 and PS5 - character models look great.     This is the best wrestling game since WCW vs NWO on N64. WWE2K22 is loaded with features and I love the amount of content including the deep create a wrestler feature!

    Non sarà un gioco perfetto ma allo stato attuale può solo che essere migliorato con futuri aggiornamenti (ne sono usciti già due in meno di una settimana). Finalmente un netto passo avanti dopo il disastroso 2k20. Un'ottima base da cui ripartire seguendo la qualità visiva ma soprattutto la libertà che deve essere data al giocatore per sviluppare una trama avvincente. Spero che con gliNon sarà un gioco perfetto ma allo stato attuale può solo che essere migliorato con futuri aggiornamenti (ne sono usciti già due in meno di una settimana).     2K is the worst company ever!!! This game you can't play because of servers going down. So we have to wait over a month for more people after 2 years. Each game has had people like Bruno Sammartino, Ricky Steamboat, Bam Bam Bigelow, Greg Valentine, Lex Luger and more. Than we are missing others like Paige, The Bellas, Zelina Vega, Kurt Angle, Lita, Brutus Beefcake, Sycho Sid, Dusty Rhodes,2K is the worst company ever!!! This game you can't play because of servers going down. So we have to wait over a month for more people after 2 years. Each game has had people like Bruno Sammartino, Ricky Steamboat, Bam Bam Bigelow, Greg Valentine, Lex Luger and more. Than we are missing others like Paige, The Bellas, Zelina Vega, Kurt Angle, Lita, Brutus Beefcake, Sycho Sid, Dusty Rhodes, Molly Holly, Reggie. This was supposed to be the biggest roster and it isn't and definitely doesn't hit different at all. How can you have a rey mysterio showcase and not have the best matches with legends in it. Legends made WWE and for them not being in is ridiculous since 2K has had 2 years to do it. I know for sure they won't be happy with this!     WWE 2K22 should be score of 1/100 and that's being generous. This has been in development for nearly three years, half the roster is missing, you have to pay for wrestlers that were already in the game previously and it's loaded with rubbish micro-transactions. Even the DLC is utter rubbish and over priced. Glitches, crashes and freezes all the way through with bare bone modes. AfterWWE 2K22 should be score of 1/100 and that's being generous. After the horrendous 2k20 nothing has ben learned and you can clearly tell the game isn't running on a new engine and it's still the 29 year old Yukes game engine.

    The sooner WWE gets the license away from 2K the better. 9 years under 2K and this game is still a copy, paste every year and worse it's now being turned into NBA 2K.    … Expand

    I'm not sure why people feel the need to rate this game a 0, especially those who haven't even played it ("canceled my preorder", "watched on youtube"). I probably would have scored this game an 8 but since there are so many unnecessary 0 scores I'll be rating this a 10 to try and counter those.

I've had to restart the game multiple times due to it freezing, there have been multiple crashes for me, hit detection is horrible, reversals are horrible if it even gives you a chance to reverse. If you try to use a weapon, it's such a task to even pick the weapon up, When you try to hit your opponent with it, the animation is extremely slow, they'll reverse it.The game is still broken. GM mode is finally back (ok too few match types, needs more matches per event), myFaction is very funny, awesome Showcase, great myRise and a solid universe as usual. Gameplay is really smooth. Graphics is awesome (hairs due to outdated engine not that great). Overall 9/10.

    Ton of stuff to do, fantastic huge roster with accurate models and faces, great audio and visuals.
    Overall awesome wrestling game, last time i had so much fun was in wwe 2k13.
    If you are a wrestling fan, it is a must have.

    Trying to get out of combos or moves are nearly impossible and even when i try to time triangle to avoid any attacks, it doesn't register, the game isn't that bad but when i am winning and all of a sudden the AI is just getting so lucky to where i can't get out of anything because buttons don't want to register, you mind as well put the controller down.

    The best 2k wrestling game since 2k14. Huge step up from 2k20 (of course), solid gameplay feels like a mix between HCTP and SvR 2011. MyRise feels like season mode from HCTP also with tonssssss of storylines to do. MyGM kinda of barebones but still is pretty fun. MyFaction didn’t even touch yet cause microtransactions yuck.     WWE 2K22 is a very strong improvement to the disappointing 2K20. It's more polished, fluid and gameplay has been better. The new modes are good also. It's a nice comeback to the series and hopefully they will build on 2K22.

    This is the greatest wrestling game ever. From the graphics, to the gameplay, and the animations everything is top notch. This has exceeded my expectations and then some. Fun factor is off the charts!

    This game is such a breath of fresh air after the series reached such astronomical lows. The matches are fun and faster paced, visuals are unbelievable, and the overall feel is awesome. I’m excited to see what the community creations look like in the coming months. Hats off to 2k.

    This game is incredible. It is the best looking wrestling game. Besides that, the gameplay tweaks make the game a lot more fun than in past years. Yes, some modes could have been fleshed out a bit more but I feel like this si something they can improve fin coming years. I highly recommend for anyone who is a wrestling fan.

    I think this game is the best WWE game I have played in a long time. I love that it is easy buttons and I love the suspense of a comeback. The last few WWE games have been bad. I’m glad 2K took a year off to make this game. I’m currently in My Rise career mode and I love the choices I have to make. I recommend this game for PS5.     Bought this game on launch knowing it would need a few weeks to polish it up but nearly 2 months later my universe mode is still full of bugs the loading time on ps5 is a shambles gm mode is pointless without tag titles only thing i will say good about it is the graphics are the best ive ever seen

    The game begins a journey where 2K can do awesome things.
    However... as I said this game can be the beginning of something, and as every first time there are a lot of things to improve.
    MyRise: MyRise is imo a huge update from the last games, however the stories are kind of random and there is no connection between them. It would be better if 2K can somehow create a continuous narative where you can actually feel like you are living the show and not random stories. I felt that the Tag Team Championships were missing and there is kind of sad that whenever you change brands the championships you had just reset to the previous champion (there is no rng or algorithm to generate a new champion). I miss the finisher creator from some old games. MyRise can improve a lot and I hope 2K keeps going for it.
    MyGM and Universe could be also awesome modes but both of them end up being a bit boring.
    The loadings are to big to be true in PS5, it looks like you are playing in PS3. The graphics are not the best as well, but they are OK.
    If you like WWE you might look up for WWE2K22 as a game (the DLCs are not worth it tho).    … Expand

    Actually not bad, but I am incredibly casual to the WWE 2k games.

    I do like the new controls for this entry, and the non-DLC wrestler roster...
    still the game is not worth full price at all, and only worth $20-30.

    The gameplay is fantastic this year! Stability-wise the game is a significant improvement over 2k20, as I've only encountered a couple of non-game breaking bugs so far.
    My biggest gripes are with seemingly no additions to the Create-a-wrestler system, and a lot of features and wrestlers being pointlessly locked away behind a micro-transactions heavy part of the game.

    - Getting new characters is a chore. I finished the showcase mode and was only able to unlock 1 character from the 1.5-2 hours of gameplay.

    The best wrestling game in a very long time. It plays perfect, it looks incredibly good, cancelling 2K21 was the best decision they made. The only negative for me is the lack of updates and improvements in Universe Mode, other than that, absolutely amazing.

The in-depth tutorial is a good addition as 2k added new controls for a more unique fight in every match. The commentary has long needed a drastic overhaul, and they certainly did just that. The controls feel smooth, and gameplay is rewarding. The Online servers are not as laggy as they used toI purchased WWE2k22 a few days after its release date, and the changes were felt immediately. The only issues I have ran in to, and ran in to quite frequently- is the crashing. For some reason, the game may crash upon simulating matches in Universe mode. There are alao frequent glitches within the creation suite, normally involving custom superstars character portrait showing as somebody else, or the custom portrait appearing on a regular superstar. Thankfully that glitch is only an issue in the menu screens, and will not appear when you start a match. Overall, its a huge, HUGE improvement on the series, but it needs a few tweaks and updates.… Expand

    I love wrestling games and they managed to bring me back with this one. Better than the predecessor in all respects, but unfortunately the graphics quality is partly out of fashion and you can see the old framework very clearly. The game itself is awesome!

Due to the match actions and being unable to control both of your wrestlers this often means your teammate loses the match for you by pinning an AI while you are chain stunned/countered by the other 3 causing you to win the match but fail the objectives with no player agency which is idiotic, just allow the player to switch wrestlers or remove this half baked game mode.

    The constant issues with animations locking, snapping, collisions missing/not connecting, random I-frames, being interrupted out of your own moves by yourself, the referee or collisions with environmental objects and the AI just being all over the place really mar what would otherwise be a really enjoyable game.    … Expand

    Gm mode is a joke which is really surprising considering the fact that this was the moat requested feature in the game

The controls are also easy to learn, but hard to master and is simple to pick up and play after the tutorial. My only problems are, the lack of custom match options and not being able to make a custom royale rumble, and myFaction is too grindy.     Although the game is certainly better compared to the older version, the impression is spoiled by the sometimes clumsy controls. The strike aiming could use some tweaking. Pressing the right buttons is often more a matter of chance or luck than a planned strategy. The graphics have grown noticeably in beauty compared to the last game. [Issue#318]

    WWE 2K22 fixes many of the serious bugs of the previous game and builds a solid foundation to build on with great gameplay and interesting game modes. Although minor, there are issues that need to be fixed, but there is a lot of fun to be had here.
