    Context: I played through the whole game on the Playstation 5, when it was free for Playstation Plus Members on the Playstation store. I played for about 10 hours on the Playstation 4 version, and the remainder on the newly released Playstation 5 version.

    I love cars and destruction so I have bias. But I do believe this is the gateway game to get somebody into the racing genre.     I love cars and destruction so I have bias. But I do believe this is the gateway game to get somebody into the racing genre. No, Wreckfest is not an authentic racing experience like Gran Turismo. Wreckfest is an arcade racer with some long and dull races but thats as far as one can go when discussing negatives about the game. The realistic driving mechanics and damage engine makes for a one of kind experience, comparable to GRID if anything. There's nothing like getting out and crashing some vehicles. The game's current flaws include aggressive AI and occasionally inadequate control from the player's input.

    There are lots of vehicles to buy in the game, as well as just enough tweaks to improve your vehicle. The controls are smooth, and there are lots of choices to ensure that you have complete control over your settings. Whether you're a novice or an expert at this type of game, there's something for everyone. After completing your career, you may compete with other racers from across the world in multiplayer. There's also an option where you may create your own races. I highly recommend giving it a try, as it really is for any kind of player, car fanatic or not.    … Expand

    Há muito não jogava um jogo tão divertido. Me lembrou uns do PS2 mas obviamente melhorado. Demais !

    Looks great on PS5, got it on PS+ and only played multiplayer for like 10-15 hours but had a lot of fun and tears in my eyes laughing at some crazy races. I can imagine it gets boring now, but well it was for free.
    Bonus point: the OST ist kind of rock/hard rock/metal(core) which I rarely see in games and was surprised cuz its my taste! Added to the fun.

    Heaps of fun. Looks great. Good physics. A bit of grinding but what else are you gonna do in a game like this? Doesn’t cost over $100 like other PS5 titles that inexplicably do. I wish there were more PS5 games like this.

I also play a lot of racing games and use to play multiplayer games in my high school days but now that it's hard for me and my friends to find a good time to link up so now it’s more rare for me to get into a multiplayer game. Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (9) Superb. Just shy of gaming nirvana, this score is a high recommendation because the game reviewed is head-and-shoulders above its competition.

    Wreckfest is a fun racing game. What makes them stand out from others is the crashing physics and it seems like it’s been awhile for a racing developer to make a game to focus on more of a local racetrack/demo derby scene. There are a lot more customization abilities than what I was expecting. The graphics and the handling of the cars are also excellent. I hope a sequel will eventually come from this and hope they tweak the AI for them to not take themselves out in a long race and add some kind of story to it. Campaign as is still good but it’s more of a challenge mode and a checklist than a story.

    Originally played on PS4, and received a free upgrade to PS5. Both versions are great.    … Expand

    Got this for PS5 and it runs very good. The graphics are okay, but I've seen better in racing games. The physics I like a lot and made the game very immersive in a way. The platinum was very grindy but still pretty fun to do. I somehow hoped for a story in campaign, but you rarely see that in racing games anyway.

    Recent updates to the game have made the single player experience impossible. At it stands, this game isn't even worth the drive space or time, and I got it for free.

    This game is so stupid I don’t even know what it is trying to do. I can’t recommend it at all but I gave it a 3 because it isn’t buggy.

Причем характер повреждений зависит с какой стороны машины пришел урон, можно даже лишиться колеса, но все    Платину выбил за 28 часов. Причем характер повреждений зависит с какой стороны машины пришел урон, можно даже лишиться колеса, но все равно как-то продолжать ехать, но тут на победу не стоит рассчитывать. В критичных случаях машина вообще пылает огнем и если это последний восьмой круг, то пылает еще и жопа!

    С искусственным интеллектом было интересно побороться. Конечно, были боты, которые разбиваются в первые минуты. Но главные соперники это 3-4 машины, которые отрываются на несколько секунд от основной массы. На остальных можно не обращать внимание, только мешаются и наносят случайный урон. Нужно помнить каждый поворот, чтобы входить в него идеально. И тут еще влияет тип покрытия и какая подвеска у машины, все это приходится учитывать. Перед гонкой можно настроить такие параметры как баланс тормозов или дифференциал, помощники (АБС и др.) и оттюнинговать тачку. Причем необходимо подбирать параметры для каждой гонки. На одних и тех же настройках наверное не пройти.

    Графика местами резала глаз, но в целом приличная. Тормозов и глюков не наблюдал. Музыка понравилась, хотя и не было известных треков. Люблю гонять под рок. Только музыка здесь какая-то тихая, приходилось уровень эффектов занижать до 50%, а уровень музыки поднимать до 100%. Так было слышно нормально.

    Ich bin jetzt nicht der größte Rennspiel-Fan, aber hier hatte ich durchaus richtig Spaß. Die Rennen haben dort am meisten Spaß gemacht, die Crash-Derbys gingen so. Cooles Schadensmodell. Zum Ende der Kampagne wurde es etwas anstrengend und mitunter langweilig, welche bei diversen Strecken einfach zu viele Runden gefahren werden mussten - auch bei Strecken, die überhaupt keinen Spaß machen.Ich bin jetzt nicht der größte Rennspiel-Fan, aber hier hatte ich durchaus richtig Spaß.     A beautiful racing game. i really enjoy this one, it has his problems but overally was a very beautiful game. If you like racing games its a must!

    I really enjoyed this game but at some point it all the same once and again. As a destructuion derby kind of game it's incredible. Not the best in driving simulation game obviously. It could be better in customisation of vehicles, but what I think is the worst of it are the 12 rounds rallies that you have to beat 8 rallies in a raw... You get stuck in that level for 30 or 40 minutes and atI really enjoyed this game but at some point it all the same once and again. As a destructuion derby kind of game it's incredible. Not the best in driving simulation game obviously. It could be better in customisation of vehicles, but what I think is the worst of it are the 12 rounds rallies that you have to beat 8 rallies in a raw... You get stuck in that level for 30 or 40 minutes and at the end gets boring. I give it a solid 7 because I don't think its a bad game, it may be just too derby for me.… Expand

    The driving is incredible, both manual and automatic it is a lot of fun to drive.
    -The Haptics of the Dualsense VERY WELL used.
    -The missions of the game are VERY Repetitive. And I didn't like the 12-lap races at all -Very unique vehicles each.     Mas, temos um porém. Senti falta do uso da tecnologia do controle do PS5, poderia ter mais interações com as funções novas, o gatilho R2 tem uma pressão bem fraca, mas até que faz um pouco de sentido em questão de ser o acelerador. Fora isso, poderiam ter    Um game extremamente incrível. Jogabilidade ótima, a mecânica é uma das melhores, destruições realistas e ótimos modo de jogo.

    this is the best demolition game since destruction derby or driver. There are tons of races and modes, offering dozens of hours of play. The driving and crashing is easy to pick-up-and-play and feels great. It’s a really fun game to play Online as well

    Those issues aside, Wreckfest provides a strong offering full of content that will appeal to both casuals and fans alike. The gameplay is innately fun and with the addition of unlockables and a wealth of customisation options, there is plenty to keep you interested if somehow the allure of absolute carnage wasn’t enough.

    Although it drove under the radar on PS4, Wreckfest deserves the attention of racing fans, especially those with a destructive streak and a love of vehicular mayhem. With its vastly improved framerates and bumped-up resolution, Wreckfest on PS5 is the definitive way to play the game, whether against humans or the game’s more-than-decent AI drivers. Wreckfest might not be the new console generation’s ultimate racing sim, but it has some depth, a unique set of chops, and is a lot of fun.

    Wreckfest remains one of the best demolition racing games of the newer generation, made with love, grit and grind. It has a bit of a bland map design and a few tweaks here and there could make the career mode much more interesting, but at the same the time it is one of the most fun racing experiences, especially in multiplayer and with an excellent PS5 upgrade.
