    The fact that Void Terrarium is getting another chance is amazing, I hope it gets the attention it deserves this time around. The fact that the new content in this version was released as DLC for the Switch and PS4 on day one makes this even better. Even though I don't have a PS5, I bought the PS5 limited edition because I want to support my favorite NIS game and because I want to expand my collection of Void Terrarium merch, which I wish there was more of. I will definitely play it again on my Switch with the DLC and hopefully get a PS5 soon so I can play it a third time. I will never get sick of this amazing game! I'm not sure what the performance is on the PS5, so for now I'll give the same score I gave the Switch version, although honestly it might deserve an even higher score than I initially gave it.

    Void Terrarium ++ is a dungeon crawler with roguelike elements, lovely characters and a charming atmosphere that lacks variety and has some balancing issues.

    Void Terrarium++ is a fun dungeon crawler RPG that doesn’t need to be exclusive to PS5, but it is. Fans of last-gen versions shouldn’t feel required to upgrade because this is the same adventure with a few added diseases to cure and emotes to obtain. Still, it’s a low-tension and overly charming title and one that I feel is worth it for new players. The game loop is addictive, and the reward of making Toriko safe and happy is enough to push on to the next dungeon floor.

    Void Terrarium Plus on PS5 is the definitive way to experience one of NIS' best releases in recent years but it feels like a missed opportunity thanks to a lack of any meaningful support for PS5 features like the DualSense controller and a lack of an upgrade path for existing PS4 owners.
