    I’ll make this review short and sweet. The presentation and production value for The Artful Escape is incredible, literally blew my mind how good it was. Top notch voice acting. Gameplay is simple which might be the only turn off for some. I loved everything about this game. Simply put it’s one of the most original and enjoyable indie games I’ve ever played, and that’s partly in thanks toI’ll make this review short and sweet. The presentation and production value for The Artful Escape is incredible, literally blew my mind how good it was. Top notch voice acting. Gameplay is simple which might be the only turn off for some. I loved everything about this game.     Short and sweet. Imagination fly with this one into the stratosphere and back to the earth. Need to play one of these once in a while to remind myself why i love videogames.

    If bought the PS Plus Premium and I am glad. This was a free game I would have never played had I not. There are only two ways to see this game a true love/hate thing. If you enjoy the simple ride, incredible sights and sound (Power Metal?), and a quirky story then this is for you. If you do not, then don't play it.

    A great little indie. What it lacks in gameplay it makes up for in visuals, music & characterization. Throw in some great voice talent and baby, you got a stew goin'!

    i was pleasantly surprised by this one. tried it since it was free with plus extra. had a decent story but i loved the graphic style. a good game to relax to after a hard week of zombie killing. about a 4 hour game, so easily playable in a night. not overly difficult either.

    A captivating 2.5D side scrolling game with a unique style and story. It's pretty much a walking sim but the colourful immersive world makes up for it. Beautiful game with a lot of heart.

    Beautiful art design, with a story that left a bit to be desired. The gameplay itself was quite lacking as the side scrolling mostly just consists of running to the next boss fight which goes for about a minute or two. Enjoyed customising my characters outfit towards the end of the game and watching how the environment reacted to the guitar riffs as you run across the screen.

    Francis’ journey from doubt-filled zero to confident rock hero is still a lot of fun and masterfully told, thanks in part to great voice acting including some Hollywood A-listers. It’s a feast for the ears and eyes, and contains genuinely funny dialogue and exceptional creativity, making us want to forgive its flaws. Art and music lovers should definitely go on this journey like no other, there’s much to see. [Issue#12, p.75]

    The Artful Escape takes you on a trip with Francis into the cosmos, marrying music and visuals into a beautiful gameplay experience. Small things pop up a time or two, but absolutely nothing keeps The Artful Escape from being entertainment brilliance. Place this among the top indie titles on the PlayStation platform.
