    I had a lot of fun. This is a very good shooter / stealth game and the best Terminator game ever.

    Much improved balancing and AI over the original version, and vastly quicker loading times. A solid shooter, and if you're a fan of the franchise, definitely worth checking out.

    This game does an excellent job capturing the first and second movie's atmosphere. Not only that, it explains and expands the lore of Terminator. The dim postapocalyptic world combined with great licenced music from the first two Terminator movies gives you the impression that you are actually a resistance soldier fighting Skynet with John Connor and Reese.     This game is a budget title, its visuals, voice acting and gameplay are not up to AAA standard so don't have these expectations. That aside, the world design, story and atmosphere is excellent.

    This game has scavenging, stealth, hacking, skill trees relationships with Npcs.     This game had no right whatsoever being as good as it was. Went in with low expectations and was very suprised at how good it was. not amazing......but quite good.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Terrible game, terrible movement, gunplay, enemy ai. The whole thing is such a gimmick. I read couple reviews saying it was okay and for lack of games I fell for it. Dont make the same mistake. There are guns that fire with literal zero controller vibration, and zero recoil, have never felt less connected with shooting, had to look at the ammo going down to ensure I was actually shooting…

    Some of the worst voice acting in games, people are literally reading lines. I have watched better first year acting student’s cringy short movies than this. For the price tag this is so unfinished, with a story line straight out of a middle schools homework. “Story” in a nutshell; Good guy lost his friends, everyone is acting tough, you find letters for “lore” that literally say “f* this world, terminators killed us” wow what a story line guys how did you come out with this twisty interesting drama of a story. Every level has pretty useless layout that tries to give a sense of open world but there is literally nothing other than garbage you collect around. Enemies don’t respond to shooting differently, like 5 of the same enemy type will die with the same animations. Simply put this is a gimmick for the movies, not a real game. I would suggest staying away from it at all cost.    … Expand

    I realy dug this game, we dont get many horror games with a good combat focus anymore. This game has elements of Dead Island , RE7 and Alien isolation, in my opinion and mixes aspect from those game very satisfyingly..
    The production value is low unfortunatly, but they still msnage to make the world look artisticly awsome and the characters interesting.

    I had trouble finding how this game performed on consoles.. PS4 its 1080p smooth 60 fps.. Xbox 1X its 4K very unstable at 60 , but fine at 30 and PS5 and PC it runs best.
    I really look foward to this studios next game and hope they can get funded ..    … Expand

    I basically only played this because it had easy trophies on the PlayStation 4 and was someone hoping for an improved experience. I was very disappointed because the game didn't seem to change at all besides adding a very mediocre mode that wasn't there before. It was already very mediocre on PlayStation 4 and now the trophies are glitched on the PlayStation 5 version so it has nothing toI basically only played this because it had easy trophies on the PlayStation 4 and was someone hoping for an improved experience.     For the price, you get what you pay for. Great story actually, the writing is pretty good and makes you feel invested in some if the characters and their plight. Worth a shot for 50 bucks.

    Inverted X axis camera control is not present in this game, thus impossible to play for me.

    Game's looks and feels like from PS3 generation. Animations are clunky, loading times on PS5 are STILL too long ( like 8-10 seconds more or less....on PS5 should be a blink of an eye ), weak AI, movements are clunky, voice acting are cringy, it's too short....and as the cherry on the top i got bugged trophies which didn't unlock.

    But in the end was enjoyable ( if you don't buy it for    Game's looks and feels like from PS3 generation.     A better work on the Terminator franchise than all the latest films in the universe. Allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of those very James Cameron films of the 80-90s. One can feel the reverent attitude of the creators of the game to the original source, the environment is recreated quite authentic and in accordance with the original, despite insufficient funding.     Most of all, I was impressed by the plot, which manages to surprise me a lot with plot twists several times, being an original bridge between the first two films of the franchise.

    With my 20 hours with this game I can honestly say it is not as bad a game. The original game on ps4 could have been understandably down rated. This PS5 enhanced edition is the best way to experience this game. The visual looks sharp and smooth 60 fps frame rate really helps it shine. By saying all that I still feel i had some fun with it, Shooting tin can version of Terminator felt bland but still amusing. If this was not a terminator license game I bet the review would have been higher. Another personal nit pick from my experience was the way UI and button prompt looks. It makes the game so ugly to look at in a UI design point of view as this was pulled straight from a 2004 line up. I got this game on sale for mere 25 euros and for the 4k support and 60fps I would back it and say it is not a bad investment. The story was ok the combat was iffy but still fun and the sealth tools given to you feel overpowered but that's what makes this game fun. Just relax your mind and enjoy the goofy voice acting and some Micheal bay style explosions.… Expand

    This game would have been better if it wasn't a survival style game. The story was alright but nothing to great. Terminators are supposed to be way more advanced then humans but in this game it feels like terminators are nothing to be afraid of. You even get the ability to see through walls??? Of course have weak machines in packs then have stronger ones like t800s come in a few time and have them hard to destroy In this game it's only a handful of terminator's a time and they are easy to destroy. You spend more time walking round picking up stuff then actually engaging the enemy. Why not have other NPC's walking round with. It just feels boring because it's set in a war but this doesn't feel like a war.

    I hope we get more terminator games but I don't think we will.    … Expand

    Although obviously not a high-budget title, Resistance is probably the best Terminator game I’ve ever played. Gunplay is fun, there’s a lot of gear to use and upgrade, you can unlock new skills, and stealth elements make the whole experience pretty varied. The graphics are rather basic though (the PS5 upgrade with 4K resolution makes little difference) and I ran across some sound issues, but in general, I had fun. [08/2021, p.45]

    Apart from adaptive triggers or some improved visual effects, it is difficult to go into ecstasies in the face of a game that still offers gameplay and a technique that is ten years behind, and it is not very short infiltrated mode that will be a game-changer. However, Terminator Resistance is keeping everything that made it a decent game in 2019. With a price drop, fans and fans of the genre should enjoy it while they wait for more games to come their way.
