    Most amazingly beautiful tales game yet !
    This game blew my mind. The story and characters are perfectly created in this world of enldess beauty ! The gameplay is the best yet with incredible animations . Easily the most beautiful anime type game ever created, hands down !

    This game makes all previous entries look like they came from the 1800's. An amazing leap for the series, a beautiful experience. Amazing visuals, like you've never seen in a Tales game before. Characters are potentially the best since Symphonia and Vesperia. This is an absolute masterpiece in my eyes and SHOULD be experienced by any JRPG fan. And as for you Tales of fans, you're about toThis game makes all previous entries look like they came from the 1800's. An amazing leap for the series, a beautiful experience.     The most compelling story I've played in a JRPG in a long time, a beautifully rendered world, and a battle system that never really gets old. What more could you want? The best JRPG since Dragon Quest XI, easily.

    Anyone who leaves a bad review is just hating lol. This game is as close to flawless as you can get and anything negative I can find is just nitpicks. Tales of Arise offers everything you would want from a Jrpg. Great cast of characters that interact with each other ALL the time. The game is gorgeous and has a unique art style that will hold up well with age. I can’t think of a jrpg thatAnyone who leaves a bad review is just hating lol. This game is as close to flawless as you can get and anything negative I can find is just nitpicks. Tales of Arise offers everything you would want from a Jrpg. Great cast of characters that interact with each other ALL the time. The game is gorgeous and has a unique art style that will hold up well with age. I can’t think of a jrpg that has better combat. The story is pretty serious for a jrpg and can be a little dark but it still offers pieces of comedy throughout. Man I could praise this game forever, solid 10/10 for me and I have NO complaints.     Excellent game. They really stepped it up with this one and have made the best in the series. Love the little chats between the characters all the way through, great moments of character development and the overall plot is great. Graphics are so good and the tales series finally feels like a premium rpg here, combat can be button marshy but I still thoroughly enjoyed, best rpg I’ve playedExcellent game.     From the opening song till the end of the game, this game never disappointed me. Dark and epic story; Alphen who never felt the pain, and Shionne who never touched by other people, is the perfect combination to find out what happen and make them happy ending. Epic!

I was hesitant to buy it after being recently burning by Dragon Quest, but I'm so glad I took the chance.     Just outstanding another long running series I have loved for over 20 yrs returns and once again proves its not a bad thing to stick to your roots! It has the same great battle system but flows so nicely and is really fun to use with stunning battle visuals, the characters and writing as usual is just excellent and again as usual shows especially in the amazing beautiful looking new skits with the addition of the very funny 'tales humour' throughout, right from the start I just fell in love with the 2 main characters and the group is great they do the 'group of friends' so well with excellent dialogue as the game progresses. The music is yet another highpoint and is literally amazing throughout, was totally blown away by it and it is easily 'final fantasy' standard which is the highest praise I can give it, the voice acting I also thought was a very high standard with the main character I instantly recognised the voice, this next gen version running on ps5 is technically one of the most impressive games I have played on the 'new gen' consoles, from on average 1 second load times on changing areas or fast travelling, to everything running silky smooth and I say that playing through the whole game in graphics mode there is a performance option for people that prefer framerate, even in intense fighting with the crazy amount of special effects flying everywhere it ran beautifully, and the whole game looks stunning in 4k, after about 2 hours play I did sit there thinking is the whole game really gonna look this amazing? the answer is yes it does its a full on massive jrpg next gen world, its very impressive. I have been waiting patiently for the next tales I knew it would be good but what I wasn't prepared for was the tales team coming up with my of my favourite games ever.

    Playability 10: So much fun with everything running so smoothly
    Writing/ storyline 10: its tales and lives up to it , easily!

    Just WOW. Everything about this game oozes with Quality, Passion, and BUDGET. Everything was carefully placed and there's so much attention to detail that I can't stop praising the game. The Gameplay is addictive and so fun to play, I just get lost on grinding most of the time.Thank you Bamco for this masterpiece.

    Firstly, unlike reviews saying this is for fans of the tales series, I call bull. I have tried and failed to get into anything previously. Besaria, vesperia, never touched the sides. I love ajrpg, but never could. This, this is right up there with YsViii. Slow starter, trickles a decent rpg system. Combat is smooth, intricate and a decent challenge at higher levels. Its one you keep playing til end game at least. Worth every penny on ps5 and definitely best of the bunch of elysium and scarlet nexus.… Expand

    ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING TALES GAMES! I have played most of the Tales Franchise games and this one is my favorite!

    Highly recommend this game there is so much fun content - collecting owls, fishing, cooking, raising livestock -farming, side quests, costumes, and etc! The story is absolutely riveting and emotional! And the English Dubs are phenomenal! Great cast of characters! This    ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING TALES GAMES! I have played most of the Tales Franchise games and this one is my favorite!

    For me one of the best Tales game. I'm let's call it veteran of this serie and Arise made huge step forward. Easly in Top 4 with Tales of The Abyss, Vesperia, Berseria(this one mostly for story and characters). Great graphic with music. Characters are as always interesting and    I will just copy paste from PC review, I don't think there is big difference, just on PS5 there is more ppl :P

Get through the opening hours, it quickly becomes the best JRPG since Xenoblade Chronicles. In my opinion, a milestone of the genre and true GOTY contender. Once you unlock more party members and skills, the combat becomes an absolute blast. GraphicsOutstanding JRPG.     Best Jrpg of decade!!! Story 10,music 10, graphics 9. Wonderful characters design and personalities! I'm in love! Best Tales of all time, Berseria was ok, but with a confusing combat, this one is perfect in every aspect! Must buy!

    This is my second Tales game (first was vesperia). What an amazing experience! It was really great to learn about the characters in your party and the story had me hooked. No spoilers here. I was worried whether i was going to enjoy the gameplay, Let me give you relief knowing its very enjoyable. You'll find your own style with normals, artes, boosts, dodges and strikes. There are some rly cool things hidden behind secondary quests too that u dont want to miss.
    Although the microtransactions suck a bit (its not such a big deal as some ppl say) and the writing could be improved, the game knows what it wants to be and took all the time needed to make the most out of those ideas, the result Is a game that does everything right and makes u wish it would last a bit longer.    … Expand

    Aunque no soy nuevo en la saga, tampoco me considero un experto, solo he podido jugar y terminar Tales of Xillia en ps3 y Tales of Berseria en PS4, pero solo estos dos juegos habían sido suficientes, par que esperara esta entrega de la saga Tales of con mucho hype, debido a que xillia y berseria me encantaron, y a mi parecer fueron juegos sobresalientes, tales of Arise es un juego queAunque no soy nuevo en la saga, tampoco me considero un experto, solo he podido jugar y terminar Tales of Xillia en ps3 y Tales of Berseria en PS4, pero solo estos dos juegos habían sido suficientes, par que esperara esta entrega de la saga Tales of con mucho hype, debido a que xillia y berseria me encantaron, y a mi parecer fueron juegos sobresalientes, tales of Arise es un juego que considero mucho mas ambicioso, con un apartado grafico y artístico hermoso (no serán los gráficos mas hiperrealista del mercado pero su estilo de arte lo compensa), personajes muy memorables como nos tiene acostumbrados la saga, uno de los mejores sistemas de combate que he visto en un jrpg, una historia entretenida e interesante, y un apartado sonoro soberbio, convirtiéndolo en mi Tales of favorito. En lo que he jugado no se han percibido bugs que entorpezcan el disfrute del juego y solo me te topado una que otra con una carga lenta de texturas, Tempos de carga relativamente cortos. 100% recomendado no solo a los fans de los rpg, sino a cualquiera que disfrutar un hermoso viaje con Alphen, Shione y compañia.… Expand

    So far so good. My first Tales game and I'm having a blast. I'm really enjoying the story and the combat is just getting better and better. I love the dynamic between Alphine and Shionne. Obviously theres much more to.their stories I cannot wait to unravel. My only criticism so far is the lack of mini games. Perhaps they will unlock later though. Will update this when I complete the game.

    I want to be YOU if you haven’t finished the game. Someone please brainwash me. I want to experience this game one more time. Masterpiece. Brilliant. It’s the best game of 2021 nothing else.

    some of the best gameplay in modern gaming with all the quality of life perks (like instant saving, fast travel) you could ever want. Graphics are fantastic while maintaining the anime-esque quality of the NPCs and playable characters, and the story is profound, the themes relevant. The English dub is fantastic with great acting, colorful personalities, laughs. There's always something newsome of the best gameplay in modern gaming with all the quality of life perks (like instant saving, fast travel) you could ever want. Graphics are fantastic while maintaining the anime-esque quality of the NPCs and playable characters, and the story is profound, the themes relevant. The English dub is fantastic with great acting, colorful personalities, laughs. There's always something new to find, tons of challenge and reward, and uncensored too (as Bandai advertised).     I am not waiting this game for release date. But when i buy it and play 40 hours than I recognized it is the best Tales game ever made. This is the future of Tales series and JRPG. PLAY IT AND FEEL IT.
    Graphic, sound and gameplay are incredible. 10/10

    The latest entry in the Tale series offers everything loyal fans could have expected, but also has a chance to enamor many newcomers. The story about two heroes from the opposite sides of a conflict joining forces is surprisingly multi-layered, the combat is flashy and satisfying, and the journey leads you across beautiful, varied regions. As for the flaws, I need to mention problems with map legibility and the necessity to grind, but fortunately both issues are occasional. [12/2021, p.68]

    Tales of Arise achieved steady progress under the traditional JRPG framework. With a solid plot and refreshing battle, a very good JRPG experience has been created for players. Although the overall quality is very high, the game still has some problems in character creation and story logic, which prevents it from reaching the peak of the JRPG category.
