    + Graphics are wonderfull
    + story is great
    + fights/feedback is great (if you like soulslike) - nearly all weapons do the same and feel the same - quests/tasks are nearly always the same and very repetitive and often not optional (would have expected more for this). - no real items to use except heal/poison and ranged attack (like bomb or whatnow) - kind of short (played through it    + Graphics are wonderfull
    + story is great
    + fights/feedback is great (if you like soulslike)
    - nearly all weapons do the same and feel the same
    - quests/tasks are nearly always the same and very repetitive and often not optional (would have expected more for this).
    - no real items to use except heal/poison and ranged attack (like bomb or whatnow)
    - kind of short (played through it in 6 hours 20 mins)

    I would have wished for more variety and more interesting quests.

    It is obvious that a lot of care went into this game. It has a fine plot, challenging combat, a superb art style, and pleasant music.

    The most striking aspects of this game are the art style and the Souls-like combat. The Rats vs. Frogs war theme, combined with the 2D hand-drawn art result in gorgeous and distinctive visuals. Also, the executions and light green frog blood are a nice    It is obvious that a lot of care went into this game. It has a fine plot, challenging combat, a superb art style, and pleasant music.

    The most striking aspects of this game are the art style and the Souls-like combat. The Rats vs. Frogs war theme, combined with the 2D hand-drawn art result in gorgeous and distinctive visuals. Also, the executions and light green frog blood are a nice touch.

    The combat is tough and mostly fair. The main issue I have with it applies to the bosses/bigger enemies. You usually have to be close to damage them, meanwhile, they have unblockable (but dodgeable) attacks that cover half, and sometimes, the whole screen. Later enemies also dodge a lot of your attacks. Ranged attacks are limited and weak, so it’s best to save for the finish. Thankfully, I had patience and I was never stuck on one fight. Finally, the weight system was poorly implemented and the abundance of gear you obtain is pointless, but those are mostly nitpicks.

    The game is short, but the free ‘Bloody Whiskers’ expansion adds a few more enemies to fight and contains a startling secret. This is simply a well-made game across the board on a developer’s first try. Impressive.    … Expand

    Really enjoyed my time with this game. A hidden gem for sure. Combat can be janky, but it's mostly pretty solid. Wanted to platinum it, which is rare for me. Won't be thanks to the achievement that wants you to collect every armorset and weapon. I've besten the game, done everything, explored everywhere.     Fun and a tad of challenge. Combat is brutal and fun. Graphically is nice to see a hand drawn type rpg.
    The story is relatively short. Decent story of a prince restoring his kingdom and getting revenge. For total 100% about 10 hours for the plat.

    I experienced aesthetic pleasure from this game and got a lot of adrenaline from battles and victories over bosses. Excellent hand-drawn artwork. Perfectly optimized dualshock 5. The game is very difficult, especially at the highest difficulty level.     An unexpected delight, this RPG souls like has beautiful hand drawn art style with weighty combat that has enough diversity to keep you wanting more within the 10hour story line.

    It was on my radar but very glad I purchased on release and couldn’t stop playing this game after the first hour.

    Finger crossed they release more content, which seems to have been teased by the devs already!

    Incredable slow for a metrovania, you will walk with 1 km per hour. Combat is trash the parry works but you will get hit when rolling behind a boss. Also you take fall damage from 0.001 meter. Weapons are all the same no specials nothing. Story is written by a child nothing new. Graphics look good. And f geralds voice over btw hated the witcher 3

    Poorly designed 2D "souls like". It tries to take art style from Darkest Dungeon, gameplay and some enemies from Hollow Knight and fails in every aspect. Fighting is boring and unbalanced, bosses are faceless and give you no challenge, world is empty and has nothing to explore, side quests are
    nonsensical and exist only as a reason for backtracking. Avoid.

    Incredible game. Very unique fairytale inspired hand drawn art style that makes the game look beautiful. Awesome lighting, particle effects and details in every stage makes the game look very impressive. Very entertaining story narrated by the voice actor of Geralt of the WItcher games which makes the narration very pleasant and entertaining. Incredible OST. Gameplay is souls like,Incredible game. Very unique fairytale inspired hand drawn art style that makes the game look beautiful. Awesome lighting, particle effects and details in every stage makes the game look very impressive. Very entertaining story narrated by the voice actor of Geralt of the WItcher games which makes the narration very pleasant and entertaining. Incredible OST. Gameplay is souls like, its challenging but not excessively hard its well balanced. The only problems of the game where the pacing of the story and the back tracking inside the huge stages.     I really enjoyed the combat, controls, lots of fights with bosses. Visuals, animations are vеry enjoyable.
    But within 6,5 hours i finished the game, I saw some locations for 10 time. Make something, go to your palace. One more time. One more. Go to that location 10 times to earn gold in reperirive side quests to continue you journey. But I    It's a Very good game that has to be shorter.

    Got my first plat on PS4, no DLCs, and really enjoyed the game.
    Beautiful art style, nice story, and challenging combat system in some fights.
    Recently got it again on PS5 (it was free on PSN) this time playing it all on Bloody Whisker difficulty. Man it was brutal, not because of the insane damage enemies do, but because of their speed. You'll learn how to use Ultra Instinct against    Got my first plat on PS4, no DLCs, and really enjoyed the game.
    Beautiful art style, nice story, and challenging combat system in some fights.
    Recently got it again on PS5 (it was free on PSN) this time playing it all on Bloody Whisker difficulty.

    You'll learn how to use Ultra Instinct against Stalkers, Ratnor Rodentson, Sha Moon, and basically every DLC boss.
    If the base game/original difficulty might be challenging, this was 10x times harder.

    Uno spettacolo disegnato a mano! Ti fa immergere in una maniera da far tremare produzioni tripla A. Quando il single player funziona, non c’è storia per nessuno, le emozioni che lascia non le da nessun multiplayer. Bravissimi dev, spero in un secondo capitolo molto più denso di contenuti.

    I really enjoyed the game. It's short and sweet, lovely storybook asthetic. Just hope we get a sequel to expand certain parts of the world and mysteries.

    Gra przypomina Hollow Knight, ale ma mniejszą zawartość elementów metroidvanii. Tutaj głównym daniem jest wymagającą, dosyć rozbudowana i bardzo dobrze zaprojektowana walka. Jest dostępny tryb opowieści.
    Nasza postać rozwija się poprzez kompletowanie kolejnych bronii i części ekwipunku, które można dobierać według stylu gry i pod kątem napotykanych wrogów. Gierka ma    Ciężkie życie szczura.
    Gra przypomina Hollow Knight, ale ma mniejszą zawartość elementów metroidvanii. Tutaj głównym daniem jest wymagającą, dosyć rozbudowana i bardzo dobrze zaprojektowana walka. Jest dostępny tryb opowieści.
    Nasza postać rozwija się poprzez kompletowanie kolejnych bronii i części ekwipunku, które można dobierać według stylu gry i pod kątem napotykanych wrogów.
    Gierka ma ładną rysunkową grafikę. Do tego dochodzi bardzo dobry soundtrack i dźwięk w ogóle, oprócz irytującego odgłosu gadających szczurków.
    Narracja jest przyjemna, miejscami dowcipna, a fabuła - nieskomplikowana i nie przeszkadza w rozgrywce.
    Kiepskie jest rozwiązanie z side questami, niby są one poboczne, sądząc po nazwie, ale trzeba je zrobić, by uzbierać złoto niezbędne do wykonania misji głównych. Opcjonalne jest pełne ukończenie aren i pokonanie paru bossów.
    Jak na tak małą produkcję jest ona niezwykle dopracowana, jedyny bug na jaki trafilem to gliczujacy się głos narratora.
    Plusem jest też łatwa platyna, po ukończeniu kampanii licznik trofeów osiąga ok. 80%.

    Not bad, but not nearly as good as reviews made me believe. I found the movement and fighting extremely clunky. Buttons are a bit confusing and can't be changed. The story and narrator are charming, but forgettable. It's competent but derivative. Sidequests are a bit of a chore. Hitboxed are kind of unforgiving and the dodge system sometimes won't work that well, there are no iframes andNot bad, but not nearly as good as reviews made me believe.     Fun game for souls like fans. It's a beautiful game and challenging, i beat it in the hardest difficult and there are a lot of hard boss fights, the last boss is the toughest one.
    But the game is too short, i think i beat it in about 10-11 hours because i lost a lot of fights in the harder mode. The post game is very poor too.

    This game was a relief for me after tons of AAA trash from EA, Activision, Ubi… just name it. Great story, nice mechanics and beautiful graphics. I don't play soulslike games at all but didn't notice 11 hours with those whiskers. :)

    Tails of Iron tells an impressively deep story with no dialogue and keeps you entertained in the interim with witty charm and gruesome combat. Definitely worth a try if you are a fan of soulslikes.

    Tails of Iron is a good game, although it cannot actually fit into one certain genre. It is not very deep or complex, as developers rather focused on implementing well a few elements. Thankfully, the exploration and combat system work like a charm and turn this rat tale into one worth experiencing. Its 2D world is truly engaging, while the challenging combat offers plenty of satisfaction once it is mastered. Tails of Iron might not be an overly ambitious game, but it is entertaining and rewarding.
